I guess i just did it for fun and to celebrate the whole AFF aniversary. Though i still have not donated (the more useful present for AFF).

Because let's face it, it's troublesome to make paypal account (atleast for my case). Especially when you are in my country. My country paypal is not trusted by overseas banks LOL. Since there were so many frauds happening that were done by my people. Not to mention, Indonesian hackers are one of the top in the world (I'm not even kidding). That's why, the bank where i went to, suggested me to make Singaporean paypal. Are you kidding me?

Anyway, let's start . . . . . .

1. When did you come across the site?

Around 2012? That is when i started to pay attention on Kpop very much. I've listened into Kpop ever since 2010, but failed to stan any groups. Because well, i was still into American hip hop and electro stuff more. And that was when i random searched for fiction site. I used to only read original fictions in fictionpress.com. But ever since, i got into Kpop more, i guess i can't seem to ignore the idea of fanfiction.

I remember back then that i still have not made an account yet, and just being a lurker. The first fic i read was When You Left. It was the fic that forced me to make an account, since i wanted to comment on that fic. And after like couple months being a reader, i decided to write my first story.

2. What was your first username?

It was candicane and it's still candicane. It's cute, isn't it? Not as cute as the story behind it though. It's from the Joy Ride movie. There's a stalker named candicane in that. And i'm thinking to change my name to candisupercane lol ... what do you think?

3. Why did you continue to stay?

Because AFF is the only awesome kpop fanfiction/fiction site. There are many sites like livejournal or wattpad (basically with those famous authors and they said that the quality of the fics are much better). But i still think that AFF is like the easiest to use, and not to mention how sociable people in here through blog posts. You don't find it that much on other sites.

Although i noticed some people leaving this site to move to livejournal and wattpad because they 'thought' that their fics were more worth to be put on there, instead on here. LOL, please, there's nothing wrong with AFF. 

I mean if you think you can't be famous enough because you are overshadowed by those famous authors. Well that's your problem. I mean they are famous because people in here love their works, people love that kind of stories. So, there's nothing you can do, my friend, unless you it up or you write stories like them.

I mean this is the place where you can improve your writting. You can't make a masterpiece only in one night. Practice makes perfect. Even the lord Nichiren said it himself, about improving your writting. So i don't know your point of thinking that your stories are much much better that you 'think' you deserve a better place. Well leave then, just don't badmouth AFF.

The other thing i like on this site is the users themselves. The majority are younger than me, so i feel like i have so many dongsaengs LOL and they leave a great inspiring comment. Especially when they get frustrated by my fics that they want to kill me.

4. What are some of your favorite things about the site?

The blog where you can share your kpop interests with others (not about how depressing your life is, okay. (I mean please, how depressing your life for someone at your age is?)

The approachable creator .. Lord Nichiren. I mean he even listened to our suggestion about the site a few days ago. Although, please mod, loosen up :P Use funny troll answers to answer the users HAHAHA i would love to see that

I have to say that i like the idea of graphic and layout shops. When i get bored, i usually play around on those shops. They are awesome, man. I mean the posters are even much better than those professional works.

5. What's something you would love to see on the site in the future?

Hmm .. not mobile app though. I love using laptop when it comes to AFF since i don't like using ipad/mobile to write. But i think it will be nice if i can see chat feature? I mean we do have a chat feature now. But it's for the general users, not between certain user with certain user. And the profile page looks boring unless you put on some layouts lol
