i need advise TT.TT

so a reader asked me if she/he can translate my story to vietnamese and im totally fine with it but also im having some doubts about it like i want to be acknowledge for it but would it be too rude? or not? and like would she/he change or add something on the story? TT.TT i need advise guys help!

i dont think its mean, its only fair, i mean she isnt the original author
as for changes she should notify you before making any
and tbh why would they need to :/

Which user is it? I had a similar request last year, the translator said he/she would credit me, they did with a screenshot of our PM conversation - and then he/she promptly disappeared.

Usually the author whose stories got translated asked for their name to be credited and also link back to the original story so the readers know who is the original writer.
