1: Has TOP ever had any scandal besides of his dating scandal with Shin Min Ah ?

Yes. He had two more scandals besides that one - which was his last one, actually -. The most well known of the two happened back in 2007, when he performed and then was interviewed by television wearing a jacket with the Japanese imperial flag. It caused quite a stir back then, as BIGBANG were called 'Traitors of the country'. TOP apologized for being insensitive.

The other one, true even though it's not that known, is when he performed in an University festival while eating a lollipop, which was taken as disrespectful.

2: What is known about his family ?

Not too much but not too little either. His mother has some pictures here and there, and it's acknowledged as a 'natural beauty'. His sister, Hye Yoon, is five years older than him (Born September, 1982, and she's 162cm tall in case you're wondering) and she's an ulzzang. His maternal grandfather was writer/novelist Seo Geun Bae (pic on the right side) and it was recently revealed that Seo Geun Bae's maternal uncle was Kim Hwan Gi, a famous painter of who you can find many pictures on the internet.

As for his father, we only know that he's good looking, that he was a soldier and nothing more. Yep. That's it.
