Hello everyone!

Just wanted to write a blog to show my appreciation for the awesome-ness that is Gong Minji. I'm going to be honest and say when 2NE1 were still new, the only role I really saw her in was dancing. I mean.. DAMN! Girl can move! That didn't mean I didn't think she could sing - because she could, I just never noticed how good she really was. However, a couple of years ago.. I began to notice just how underrated she was.. She debuted so young that her voice was still changing. Now.. now her voice is arguably my most favourite in the group (CL coming a very very close second, they switch every other day >.<). Her tone is so rich, smooth and deep. I personally think she has the best control over her voice in the group.

As a person, I love how mature she is. She doesn't look or act her age, which sometimes saddens me as she's so young, but being mature is never a bad thing. In terms of clothing, it used to grate on me what the stylists used to get her to wear. Some clothes were so unflattering on her, but more recently i've noticed the improvement. The clothes compliment her and flatter her body better. I mean, she has an amazing curvy figure, and even though she rarely shows her body off (which isn't necessarily a bad thing!) everyone can still see just how good her figure is.

Her hair... I absolutely love her hair right now, the colour, the length. I prefer her with the long hair like back in 'Can't Nobody' and 'Clap Your Hands', so it was great to see her with long hair again for 'CRUSH'. She rocks long hair.. although I get the feeling she prefers her shorter cropped hair.

Anyway, I personally feel she is one of the most underrated artists. She is a real triple threat.. she can rap, she can dance phenomenally and her vocals give me goosebumps. I really hope that YG releases her solo album soon because she deserves it. 2NE1 is my ultimate girl bias group, with CL being my bias, but sometimes the individual members need solo's to allow them to shine and not be unintentionally overshadowed by the other members. If not a solo album, I hope she does a duet with Bom. I think their voices sound beautiful together.

I can't get over Minji's and Bom's vocals towards the end.. it's just magical when their voices are together like that. Their harmonisation is just...T____T
