I have a question...is anyone here from Palau?? I have a job offer from there and I was wondering what kind of a place it is before look into the offer some more.

Things I want to know:

Crime  - is it safe for a girl?

Political status - any unrest or mini wars going on that I should know about...

Cost of Living - I woudnt want to go there and find out that I have to spend more than what Im earing

Renting options - is real estate prices expensive? How much does a small flat (single) cost in approximation for a month

Im sure that there are a million other questions I should be asking but Im kinda at the lose right now because this is really short notice. Please help anyone is from Palau
