October - November 2013.
The duet couple then trained/practiced together for 2 months.

Chen also said during the S.M The Ballad Joint Recital that LiYin especially went to the recording studio on the day of his recording to help him with his Chinese pronunciation and took the lead. He felt really thankful about it.

Liyin said in several interviews with Chen that she went through word by word with him to help him with it. (To help him pronounce it better even though he was already doing quite well.)

i definitely think so, but technically, liyin is the first female singer to officially promote with someone in exo so i guess fans are just really really excited about it

we have had f(exo) and snsdexo in the past, but the pairings weren’t as well received. maybe it’s because the most popular members are the ones being shipped (like sestal, kaistal, seohan, yoonhan, kristoria, to name a few) and jongdae’s still a bit nugu compared to them lol so more than chenyin being the most popular pairing, i think they’re the most liked???? being liked and being popular are different things so… and who can hate on anything jongdae-related???? i mean really???

plus zhang liyin is just the most perfect human being in this planet ughughuhguhgu pls jongdae is so unworthy of her perfection PLS

BUT THE THING IS!!!!!!!! jongdae is also the most vocal in exo about things like this (“my ideal type is an older woman”, “when i like a girl, i’ll give her a glass of water”) so i guess the fans are just really happy that he’s promoting with a female singer with whom he can express his protective and manly feels

plus wow he’s always touching her and patting her and smiling at her and calling her noona and just being so attentive of her ugh jongdae stop i’m
