I subscribe to quite a number of stories on Asianfanfics and to be honest, I am really picky about what I read. I must really be interested in the story before I even press the subscribe button.

But why doesn't these people update?!!!

Mostly because I always ensure a two chapter ahead rule when I write. Basically it means, when I post chapter 1, I am most probably working on chapter 4. 

There is a reason. It's because:

1. It helps you vision your plot

2. It keeps your updates more timely (if you are super free, you can write like 4 chapters and slowly release them while you battle school work on other days)

And just because my fav authors are not updating their stories, I lost my motivation to post or even write. If people can wait 3 months for a chapter on one story, why not wait 3 months for mine too? If I had to wait 3 months for a chapter, why not make my readers wait three months too?

I am sorry, I am so selfish. :(((
