Okay, so lately I've been in a rap/hip hop mood more than a pop mood. So naturally, I've been listening to a lot of Block B, early B.A.P., and Zico's solo stuff.

And let me just say that Zico is my idol.

If you've never listened to Zico's solo work, I highly recommend it. His raps are almost always inspirational (even if he does swear and say random inappropriate things that I highly enjoy) or having to do with the struggles he dealth with trying to make it in the k-pop world and his life as an underground rapper.

Right now, my favorite songs by him are "I'm Still Fly" and "No Limit". Listen to them. Do it. They're ing awesome.

I think part of the reason I love Zico so much, actually, is he isn't afraid to say what he thinks. Especially in his solo works. He's regarding as a k-pop idol because of Block B, but in his solo songs, he says stuff like "eat " and " you." He's so off the charts of a normal k-pop idol that I rarely recognize him as one anymore. It's more like... Block B plus Zico. XD

Don't get me wrong, though. I love Block B and will continue to love Block B and I think Zico is a fantastic leader for Block B and I will continue to await new songs by them.

BUT DURING MY RANDOM SPREE OF RAP AND HIP HOP, I STUMBLED ACROSS THIS LITTLE BAND I LIKE TO CALL BTS.

Now, don't get me wrong. I actually liked BTS before they even debuted. They had released a video pre-debut that showed I think Jimin, Suga, and J-Hope and they were singing a song by Jason Mraz if I recall correctly (it's been awhile since I've seen it.) But not to sound like a hipster or anything I actually liked them and their facebook page and all that jazz before they even hit 800 followers. So I knew about them pre-debut.

Then their music video for "No More Dream" came out and I really did like it.

But for SOME REASON, I stopped listening to them. I honestly and truthfully do not know why. Don't ask me. I have a feeling it was because I got distracted by another band's comeback or something.

ANYWHORE, I FOUND THEM AGAIN. AND THESE SEVEN ES ARE WEASLING THEIR WAY BACK INTO MY LIFE FASTER THAN I'D LIKE TO ADMIT.

You guys don't understand. "We Are Bulletproof Pt. 2" has pretty much just been on a constant loop on my iPod. "N.O." and "Boy in Luv" has been getting much attention, as well.

BUT .

WHY?!

I WAS FINALLY STARTING TO SETTLE INTO MY GROOVE AND THEN BTS IS LIKE "SUP , REMEMBER US? LOVE US."
