personality :

a stubborn yet hardworking girl is what taemi mainly is. she would never surrender on something, even if it's just a silly game. that is what makes her stubborn. but even so, she is hardworking and determined when it comes to practising and other things similar. she can also be quite 4d at times, meaning that she is sometimes random and would do unexpected things. she loves to tell jokes and seems to have one to tell every. single. day. because of her jokey personality, she is the moodmaker in her group of friends.

however, whenever she is with people she doesn't like, she'll just sit there with a poker and become a quiet & antisocial human being, completely the opposite of how she's like with her chingus. taemi herself is very awkward and shy with people she's never met before so it's not always her starting conversations with them. taemi is very loyal to her friends and usually hang out with just them and nobody else. she is one impatient person, alright. especially when it comes to food. keep her waiting more than fifteen minutes and she'll skin the waiters. haha

background & family life :

growing up, taemi had an interest in anime and vocaloids. she would watch anime online and because she doesn't understand japanese, she would just assume what the characters were talking about. well, she tried learning the langauage and failed miserably. she tried her best but she just can't make herself to understand anything. in the end, the only japanese word she managed to learn was 'arigato'. but still, she couldn't stand watching a cartoon that she barely understands (explain how she got into anime again? lol) so taemi decided to learn english instead because of two reasons. one, she thought it would be easier than japanese and two, the anime had english subtitles. because she already learnt some english at school, that gave taemi a little head start.. sort of. so after quite a while of hilariously broken engrish, she finally could speak decent english. Well, it wasn't that good but it's good enough to at least let her understand the subtitles on animes. so finally she could understand the shows.. unless they didn't have subtitles.

at time passed by, anime was starting to get boring for her, a thing she thought would be impossible since she liked anime so much. but she actually got over her anime obsession pretty quickly, though. so at the time, taemi didn't really had an interest, but that didn't go on for long. soon, one of her friends introduced her to k-pop and she was completely hooked. she sometimes wonder why didn't she listen to it in the first place, considering that she was a korean herself. anyways. ever since she had been introduced to the k-pop world, she would secretly dance and sing to k-pop songs in her room alone. it would be quite awkward if people were watching her. when she became 13, it hit her! for once she actually knew what she wanted to be. she wanted to go and audition. and it's a convienient coincidence that sm entertainment was having an audition near her place in a couple of days, haha! okay, back to the story. it took a while for her to gain enough courage to ask her parents to get permission from them. the moment she asked, her father disagreed and said that she should focus more on her studies. of course her father would say that, he's a teacher after all. that made taemi feel really sad but her mother, being the supportive eomma she is, said that it was time for her to learn being independent for herself and that actually convinced him! taemi felt like the happiest person alive~ (why does this sound so lame lol).

days before the audition, taemi would constantly practice. she wouldn't want to screw up. on the day of the audition, her mother went with her to give taemi some support. she was obviously nervous, but she took deep breaths and sang calmly to prevent her voice from cracking and stuff. after it ended, taemi and her mother hugged and her mother said that she did her best, which made taemi glad. the next few days after, she was waiting eagerly to see if she got casted or not. on one day, she got a call and moments later, she was tightly hugging her parents. her mother asked what was with the sudden affection and taemi happily stated that she got casted as a sm trainee, which made her parents teary from the great news. then they hugged again and taemi knew that this was the start of her trainee life.

amber liu : they are very close friends. taemi opens up her feelings with amber and amber is always there to help her if she has any problems
yoo youngjae : these two are known as the jokey buddies, who are always seen goofing around when they have nothing to do

reason why this person is your rival : she always sees taemi with her f(x) unnies and she gets jealous of that. she feels likes the members are ignoring her and is always talking to taemi and not her.

trainee life : after an audition taemi got the chance to be a sm trainee. she was awkward on the first few days of being there but after the first week, she finds herself with her new friends, which were both trainees and idols. being a trainee, taemi always practised, even until the late hours. even so, training like that has its own bad points. there was one time when she badly sprained her ankle and she couldn't dance for a whole month, all because she overworked herself. some trainees who weren't her friends said that she tries too hard to accomplish something that's impossible for herself. the first time when she heard those comments, she really felt sad but after years of hearing them, taemi is now unaffected by those. she would just ignore them and mind her own business. now she still trains hard, but tries her best not to overwork herself again.
