My Life

History: Having the two greatest engineers in district 3 as his parents, Han Seung Jin was always known as the genious child engineer that will follow the footsteps of his parents. Having that said, many people started looking up to Seung Jin; they started to idolize him. However, with every people who idolizes him, he feels pressured because it just means that people expect a lot of great things for such a young age kid like him. They assumed that he would be perfect like his parents and he hated it. But no matter what he do, he just can't afford to disappoint his parents. He want them to be proud of him in anyway possible so even though he hated the spotlight, he still continued to shine. Which cost him to have enemies that hated him for out-shining them.

When Seung Jin was young, he found friends that truly love him for him... They didn't cared about his title or his skills. They were Park Min Woo and Song Sung Mi. The people who hated him wanted to destroy him; they wanted Seung Jin to never work his magic. So, they planned a "little accident" to happen. The accident almost cost Seung Jin his ability to use his right hand but Thank God, he only got a scar on his right hand but, it hurt him a lot. He hated the pain and agony he felt at that time. He hated it so badly! And since he grew up, he has never forgotten the pain.

On the 26th Hunger Games, the three of them -Seung Jin, Min Woo and Sung Mi- thought that they were out of the picture by the next year's reaping. They thought that that was the last time they will ever risk their lives however, they were wrong. They best friend, Seung Jin was chosen to be the tribute. At that time, Sung Mi started to tear up. She want to stop him but what could she do? At the same time, Min Woo was about to volunteer but, Seung Jin stopped him. Seung Jin's last words to Min Woo before he left for the stage were, "Don't. I can't afford to watch my brother sacrifice his own life for me. Take care of Sung Mi for me, ok?"

Personality: Han Seung Jin is a really intelligent and reserve person. He doesn't easily trust other people and before he makes a move or even say something, he thinks it through until he find the right thing or words to do or say and  he always thinks about the consequences of his actions. He looks cold and distand but deep inside, he cares a lot about the people around him; he just don't know how to express his feelings. He is strict with his work and training, as well as with his friends. He hates it when they would just lazy around and do nothing but most of all he is VERY STRICT with himself.

Being the only child of two great engineers from their District, puts a lot of pressure in him. He is intelligent and clever -everyone knows that- but sometimes, he just wish to disappear and be left alone. He never really likes so much attention directed to him but when its needed, he has to endure it. Even though he's strict with himself, he can be very caring and sweet in his own way. He would scratch his hair -as a habit- when being embarrassed. And when he is under pressure, he thinks faster and more critical; he makes the right decision in a split second whenever people are pressuring him or him being under time pressure.

He hates creating bonds with other people because he believes they wouldn't stay true to him but, he is a softy... He cares about everyone whether they are friends or foe. But having a perfectionist as a father and both strict parents, he also became a perfectionist. He is also greedy and when he snaps, he would tend to be childish. He rarely have fun but when he do, he would show you one of the brightest smiles that reach his eyes... and a wierd laughing sound.

Family's Reaction:  Before knowing that their only son was going to be the tribute for their district, they were really calm. The thought of their son being eighteen years old already and this might actually be the last time he would put his name and life on the line, made them really happy. However, when they heard their son's name, their world crumbled down. they were shocked -no, the term shocked was an understatement! They were petrified to the ground and later on cried their hearts out...

How did you receive token:  The necklace was from his girlfriend, Song Sung Mi. While giving him the necklace, she said, "No matter what happens, my love for you will forever and always be endless like this ring. Please stay safe... I love you."
Who visits before you leave:  His father and mother visited him. After that, Min Woo came with a crying Sung Mi.

Training

What do you do during public training:  He would act very aloof and is always own his own but the truth is, he is always observing the other tributes and making strategic plans on how to "use" his other opponents. And by observing the other tributes, he also assesst their skills and make decisions on who to be allied with. He would also show off his skills with the knives to gain some attention (but not too much attention!)
What do you do during private training:  He would try and get familiar with different edible and posionous plants as much as he could and learn how to make a fire and shelter. After that, he would practice sword swinging and knife throwing and studies how to make traps. But most of all, he tries creating his own set of bombs he could use in the Games and make strategic plans that would benefit him.
Weapon of choice:  He can use a sword and knives but he would pefer to use bombs or his hand-made bombs (timebombs or the normal ones).

Interview 

How do you act during the interview:  He would look really calm and cool on the outside but is fighting against himself in the inside. When he sit at the chair for the interview, he would try to compose himself but the nervousness is evident in his answers. At one time in the interview, there is one question (like "What is your strategy for the Games? or like "Do you think you will find romance in the Arena?" or something like that... T^T) that will make him smile and laugh and he will answer with, "Well, that's a secret." With that, the smile and laugh helped him loosen up a bit and attracted a lot of people. One of his strength (or so he just realized this in the interview) is his smile that can attract a lot of sponsors (because he RARELY smile! He always look so intelligent and reserve that's why he is hard to approach.) WHen he answers the questions, he acts cool and aloof at the same time, sweet and charming.

The Day Comes

Do you fight at the Cornucopia or run away:   He would run away to the forest (near the Cornocupia) and climb up a tall tree and hide there until no one is around the Cornucopia. After that, hewould take things that he would be able to use.
What is your strategy in the games:  After the countdown and the start of the bloodbath, he would first run away to the woods however, not to far away from the Cornucopia. He would climb up the trees and hide within the trees. He would wait until the end of the bloodbath and until the Careers starts searching for their new preys. When it is clear, he would steal some stuffs that he would think would be useful for him in the battle like sowrds, knives, bottles, wires, backpacks and maybe some foods available (if any).
Once he has completed that task, he would search for a good-enough shelter, he knew it would take him a lot of time if he has to make one so, he would just search for one. At the same time, he would remember and analyze the Arena's geographical features for future references if he needs to use the ecosystem against his opponents. Also, while doing all the things above, he would avoid open fields and go to darker places so he can hide from the other tributes. With the use of his ability to make new electronics and technology, he made some traps to catch his foods and also some explosives (timebombs, smokebombs, etc.). He would make new allies he knows he can use but, he would eventually go on his own when there are only less than 10 of them left. But before her left, he said, "I really hope that all of us could come out of this hell, Alive! But I just can afford to kill the people I created a bond with. I'm sorry..."

Preferred Death: Eating posionous plant because of carelessness or lack of experience. A stab right on the stomach because he sacrificed himself for a friend in the Arena. He died because of losing too much blood after fighting against a Career.
Allies:  He would prefer teaming up with someone he can use. Like someon who can distinguish plants in the Arena and some other tributes who is experienced in the wild because he lacks the experience.
Fears: He is afraid of feeling pain. He is afraid of disappointing people specially his parents. He is afraid of losing the important people of his life.
