I Need Help In Writing!

THE PURE AND CLEAN ZOMBIE NEEDS HELP.

really need help in writingWhen I think of an idea (maybe a prompt), I quickly turn on my computer and open MS Word.

BUT, when I start to actually type, my mind goes blank. In short, I always get writer's block.

And also, when I try to construct a sentence, it take a minute or a half (whut) to correct and finish it.

And English is just too hard. (look at the wrong grammars here, there and everywhere lol)

Uggghhhh! I don't know what to do, so I really need help.

Any sites, blogs, etc. to help me and every aspiring authors in AFF or anywhere get over Writer's Block?

Hm. So you can think of the idea but not how to write it out?
I think that you should try writing an outline, saying what should happen in the plot in what order. Do this by hand -- a sheet of notebook paper isn't as scary as an empty word document. Then, go in and add details. It's like connect the dots. Finally, get a beta to help with grammar if English isn't your first language.

I always use writing prompts when I'm feeling stuck. A quick online search will give you thousands of choices. And the best way to write is to just not think about correcting your language, seriously, just write - editing comes later.

Just to add, if you think that your writing isn't adequate in English, you could always ask a co-author who is fluent to help!

DramaGirl's suggestion is good, writing down your ideas on paper. What I tend to do is think of the basis - equilibrium, the disequilibrium, and the new equilibrium - this basically means that there's a normal life within the story (the equilibrium) but then something disturbs that, either a love rival like in romance fics or an evil villain threatens life (which is the disequilibrium) and then the main character solves the issue and brings life back to a new balance (the new equilibrium). Once I've figured that out, I go back and fill in more details in terms of the plot to give it more depth and then I plan the characters and how they act and think and I contemplate how their character would develop throughout the fic, for better or for worse? In the final stages, I start by writing the story at a basic level and don't think too much about analogies or writing techniques to include, I tend to add that after I've reread my work a lot of times, because I find once you reread a piece of work, you find a lot more new and better stuff to include if that makes sense?

well, a good way that might help out is, write your idea down on papers before you starting actually writing, make a brainstorm..
as for your language, you can always start writing your story on your first language and then when you are satisfied with what you have wrote you can always translate it later on..
I know this might be a pain in the , but yeah, I know it works because I used to do that..
