» PERSONALITY

Naerou might seem all sweet on the outside but she's really a mischievous prankster in the inside, Himchan being her constant victim because he's just that gullible. She would crack up seeing their reactions but she'll never admit that she's the pranker. Whenever someone complains to people that Naerou's such a troublemaker, she'll pull off her signature innocent image which saves her from being scolded or anything like that. That's why she's the troublemaker in disguise. But she doesn't do it too frequently, she likes to have fun with her friends, too! Naerou, for some reason always has a pun, wether it's imitating the way people's voices or just being plain silly. She is known as the moodmaker of her group friends because of that bright and hyper personality of hers. But when she's with someone she doesn't like, she'll just be a quiet anti-social human being who will just sit there with a poker face without doing anything-completely the opposite of how she's like with her chingus. Naerou is also a hardworking one when it comes to training. She would even practice until the late hours. Naerou is an impatient person alright, especially when it comes to food. Keep her waiting for more that 15 minutes and she'll skin the waiters. Haha.

» Background

Growing up, Naerou has an interest in anime. She would watch it online everytime she has the chance to. However, because she doesn't really understand Japanese, she would just watch the show and assumed what the characters were talking about. Well, she tried learning it but soon gave up because she thought that Japanese was too hard. Same goes when she attempted to learn Kanji. In the end, the only Japanese word she manahged to learn was 'arigato' (thank you). But still, she counldn't stand watching a cartoon that she barely understands (explain how she got into anime again? lol) and came up with another plan. Naerou wanted to learn English because of two reasons. One, the anime had English subtitles and two, she thought it would be easier than Japanese. So after some time of hilariously broken Engrish, she finally managed to speak pretty decent English and could actually enjoy animes.. unless they didn't have subtitles. Because of her interest in anime, she also stared to draw anime characters in her free time, either from an existing anime or she would create her own characters. Naerou is apparently quite good at drawing.

As time passed by, anime was starting to get boring her her-a thing she thought would never happen to her since she liked anime so much. So Naerou didn't really had an interest back then, but that didn't go on for long. Soon one of her friends introduced her to K-pop and she was hooked since. Naerou sometimes wonder why didn't she hear it in the first place considering that she was a Korean herself. Naerou would silently sing songs in her own room when nobody was looking, it would be quite awkward if anyone did. When she became 12, it hit her! For once she actually knew what she wanted to be. She wanted to go and audition. And it's a convienient coincidence that SM Ent. was having an audition near her place in a couple of days, haha! Anyways. It took a while but she finally gained enough courage to ask her parents permission. At first her father disagreed and said that she should focus on her studies but her mother, being the supportive eomma she is, said that it was time for her daughter to learn being independent for herself and that actually convinced him! Naerou felt like the happiest person alive~ (why does this sound so lame haha).

The days before the audition, Naerou was constantly practising her singing and made sure that was okay. On the audition day, her mother went with Naerou to give her daughter some support. Naerou was indeed nervous but she just took deep breaths and focused on her singing more that anything else. After it ended, her mother and her hugged and Mrs. Seo said to Naerou that she did her best. She waited nervously for the next few days, eager to find out if she got casted. On one day, she got a phone call and moments later Naerou was already hugging her parents tightly. Her parents asked what was with the sudden affection and Naerou excitedly stated that she was chosen as an SM trainee, in which her parents happily congratulated her. Naerou wanted to tell her brother about the great news and decided to call him but before they knew it, Himchan was already sobbing on the other line. Crybaby.

» FAMILY

Kim Woonsoo | father | teacher | 48 | generous, understanding, responsible, funny | Mr. Lee and her daughter are rather very close together. Naerou's father is also unexpectedly funny and always seems to have some jokes up his sleever which always makes Naerou and her family laughing. Mr. Lee is also extra generous when he's is a good mood and that's the strory of how Naerou got her Dr. Dre Beats.

Seo Minhye| mother | housewife | 45 | supportive, kind, trustable, nice | Naerou always helps her mother in the kitchen when she has free time on her hands. Well, Naerou would do all the cutting and her mother would be the one who would do all the actual cooking. Naerou would be clapping like a little kid every time her mom makes cookies or other sweet stuffs and Mrs. Seo would just chuckle at her daughter's reaction.

Kim Himchan | older brother | 24 | naggy, skinship addict, gullible, bubbly, loves to comfort others, easily gets touched/cries easily | These two are just like cats and dogs. They are always seen arguing even about the smallest things like Himchan eating the last piece of rice cake. But eny time they're not bickering, the two would act like BFFs and usually even hang out together wif Himchan has any free time. In conclusion, even if these siblings are constantly arguing like little kids, nothing can break their closeness with eachother. Oh and Naerou's nickname for him is the Crybaby, because he cries oh, so easily.

» FRIENDS

Park Hyosun | college student | 19 | goofy, clumsy, happy go lucky, loud, cheery | These two met at a cafe when Hyosun accidentally bumped into Naerou, causing her to spill her coffee. Naerou then helped her and they eventually chatted some more and grew closer as time passed.

» PERSONALITY

Jongdae is basically friendly with everyone he meets. He likes cheering up his friends and will tear up whenever he laughs a lot. But even so, he has a troll side. And a good one, indeed. He doesn't speak the truth all the time but people will know when he really is. His favourite hobby is singing and you are most like to find in alone in the studio singing. Jongdae also gets annoyed easily when people ignore him when he's talking and will just go into a corner and sulk. But it always ends up with him failing to hold in his laugh when s make funny faces at him. He's isn't usually like this, but you'll know when he has a crush on somene, just by looking at his actions. The person he likes will be quite obvious when Chen is always around a girl and be extra nice to her. But he'll never admit it to anyone.

» INTERACTIONS

Chen and Naerou is always hanging out together whenever the both have them have free time. They'll talk about all the funny things they're been through and laugh at them together. Naerou will always talk about her latest pranks and Jongdae would talk about his master trolling skills. Naerou also opens up her feelings more when she's with Jongdae and vice versa. They both agree that sometimes being an idol is quite tiring that they sometimes just want to lie in a field with running unicorns and double rainbows. Yea. As time passed by, Jongdae would blush a little whenever Naerou compliments him or even smiles at him and Naerou would be the same. Naerou was like his own sister but never before he thought of having feelings for her. He's confused about his feelings, but definetely not saying no to it. Definitely not. He's been having that smile that's totally different from his usual smiles whenever he's with Naerou.
