Yoora is born in the city of Gwangju. She knows the dialect of Gwangju and the accent may come out if she's in Gwangju or when she meets a person from Gwangju. Her parents were kind and gave Yoora all the love they can give. As an only child, she longed for a big brother or sister. It's good that she has her cousin who is VIXX's Leader N who she thinks is her own older brother. When she was young, her father went to London for a new business. Her father is businessman while her mother is a cafe owner. Yoora was so sad that her father has to work at another country but they couldn't do anything to stop him because they needed money. Yoora's family is in the middle class and isn't high class that time. It was very hard for Yoora to study because sometimes her parents can't pay the right amount of money for the field trip or examination she had. Even so, Yoora still worked hard and received high grades when she was a kid.

In school, Yoora was never bullied but she gets into arguments with some arrogant classmates. Even though she's nice, she doesn't let anyone just step on her or hurt anyone she loves including herself. Her temper isn't that bad though and she tries to ignore those who . She was bullied or teased because of her father. They were teasing her that she doesn't have a father unlike them. When she was in high school, many thought that she was popular with the guys because she was always with guys but it isn't like that actually. Yoora has many guy friends than girls because in their neighborhood, they are a lot of boys in her age and few are girls. Her cousins are boys too including VIXX's N. Will she start to open up to girls because of Ambrosia members?

PERSONALITY. Hongbin is a sincere and soft-spoken guy. He likes to smile a lot like Yoora. He is very warm-hearted and kind. He treats the people around him nicely and he is caring. Hongbin is also gentle and affectionate. He can be humourous and funny too. He is fun to be with and understanding.

MEETING. This happened when N dragged Yoora to their Voodoo MV filming. Yoora was dressed in casual clothes and was told to change because she will play as the girl cameo in the MV. Yoora was at first, so immersed because of their MV set. She was still looking around when N called s. She was so happy to play as the girl in the MV. Yoora smiled as usual and waved with her cat claw fingers. Vixx found it cute when she was waving. N then introduced everyone to Yoora. She was glad to meet them. After a while, Yoora has warmed up with the Vixx members and started to talk to them. When it was break time, the other members were either resting or memorizing their lines. Hongbin went to Yoora and asked her if she wants to come with him to the convenience store. Yoora gave him an eyesmile which means yes! She said, "Oh, Arasseo I'll buy snacks too!". Hongbin started to act strangely and was spacing out and stuttering. Yoora waved in front of Hongbin and finally Hongbin was back to normal. What was he feeling? Yoora didn't know but there was a time when she stuttered in front of Hongbin too. They went to the convenience store together and started to be friends.
