— Rian has always been a bright, exuberant and cheerful girl since she was young. She has a smile that can brighten up anyone's day. She is a happy virus and loves to spread happiness to people around her. She is very lively and energetic. There are days when she gets really hyper and has lots of energy that she starts to jump like a bunny. Never give her energy bars because it will just make her even more hyperactive. She colors everyone's world pastel because of her brightness. She smiles a lot so when she doesn't smile even once for a whole day, you know something's wrong with her. She's the Lovely Fairy that spreads happiness, positivity and brightness. She is transparent and it's easy for people to know her mood judging by her attitude. Rian talks lively and animetedly and her aegyo just comes out whenever she's talking. She loves to play around and have a fun time with her friends a lot. Rian brightens up any dull moments of those around her.
Rian is always optimistic and would never give up at anything. "Halsu isseo!" (I can do it!) is what you'll hear from her in times of difficulty. She is an unstoppable force in times like these. It's because she believes that 'Impossible' is spelled as 'I'm possible'. She combines impressive drive, high aspirations and a diligent approach to achieve her goals. Rian knows when to be serious and when to play around. She is very focused and determined in school and when she's doing work in the leisure club. The club members have seen two sides of Rian. The bright and sweet Rian and the attentive, serious and immersed Rian. They have always seen her swtich sides in the school and when she's working for the club. She always seems like a different person when she's working.Rian is a nice and kind-hearted girl as well. She didn't even need proper princess-like training because she was taught by her mother on how to be a proper lady. She might be seen as a brat on the outside because her family is rich but she has always proven them wrong. She is helpful to the people around her and even people around the town. Rian is clever and intelligent. She loves to read books since she was young. She always dreamt to be like Nancy Drew or Sherlock Holmes and it came true when she became a member of the leisure club. She relates to Hermione a lot as she is very similar to her. She tends to correct people a lot. Her deduction and analyzation skills are great and she learned Hapkido since she was a kid. With her logical reasoning and her aunt who is the principal of SES, she helps the club solve cases.

Rian might be bright and smiley but she gets hurt easily. She is hot-tempered but will not let herself be impulsive. She gets angry easily but she controls herself well so she does not let her anger get the best of her but she will definitely burst out if you continue doing it. When she is sad and when she feels bad, she likes to go somewhere quiet to cry out her feelings. Rian would tell you what she thinks and about her feelings bluntly. If she thinks something is not okay with her, she'll tell you straight-forwardly even if the person might not like it. She appears to be arrogant when she talks frankly. Rian is very stubborn. If you tell her to do something she doesn't like, she'd be sulky and she won't do it at all. She won't change her decision about it unless you convince her well but that is close to impossible. She's not lazy and would do things for people but if you force her to do something that is not of her liking then you would clearly get "NO!" for an answer. When working for the club, she sometimes tends to be bossy and demanding. When Rian is tired, she would be like a sloth and be lazy. That's why she calls for help from the maids on moments like these. You wouldn't know what to feel if she would boss you around because she would ask you with a cute sleepy voice. Also, she does it with manners like "please" and "thank you". Rian is irritable and tends to get annoyed when she's in a bad mood. Do not disturb her or play around with her when she's in a bad mood because she might yell at you and hit you a little on the arm. She would need to relax and do something to get rid of her bad mood.

— Rian was born in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea. She is the the baby of the family as she is the youngest and she has an older brother named "Junhui". When she was a kid, she was taught by her mother on how to be a proper princess. She loves to watch Disney movies and that's why she loved to learn from her mother even though she is only the princess of the family and not a real one. She thinks that she is Belle from Beauty and the Beast because of her traits. She always went to her grandfather's library to read things like Harry Potter, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew and of course Sherlock Holmes. This is how she started to learn how to deduct. Her mother had a bakery as a business near their house. She always loved helping out and well... eating some pastries as well! She has learned baking from her mother. Her older brother has been the best brother for her. He always took care of Rian in the best way possible. He may be a bit over-protective of her when she grew up but he is very sweet and loving to her. Her grandfather unfortunately died of a disease when she was twelve and that has been one of the saddest time of her life. Her grandfather always bought her books for her to read and his books were the reason how Rian became intelligent. The day after, her aunt and her mother who were the daughters of her grandfather decided to help the maids sort out what they can do with her grandfather's things. Her aunt suggested rashly to burn all the books. Her mother shouted and scolded her aunt. When her aunt said that, she was already tearing up because she's afraid that all of the memories of the books and library might disappear. Her aunt was younger than her mother. She could tell that her grandfather favored her mother more because she can see her aunt's rash and inconsiderate nature. Her father and mother decided to send her aunt home at the house where her mother's other younger siblings lived with her grandmother.

When Rian grew up, she has been known as the "Bright Gem" of the town where they lived. When she started to go to school, she was well liked by people but there are some who are judgemental and thinks that Rian is a rich and arrogant brat. People are blown away when they meet her because she doesn't match their expectations of a rich girl. There have been bullies at the school who made trouble for her but she proved her innocence because when she explains to the teacher, she uses her brain to prove that she is just accused and the real culprit is the bullies.

Rian became a member of the club when she met Jaesi on her first year. Rian never judged people based on the outside. She was introduced by the teacher and she was told to sit down next to Jaesi. She smiled and looked at Jaesi. "Annyeonghaseyo! Ahh, my name is Rian!" she said cheerfully and grinned at the other girl. Jaesi just smiled a little and faced the front again. Rian felt that Jaesi is nice but she is just a little shy. She faced the front as well. At the end of the class, Rian took a glazed donut from her bag and stood to give it to Jaesi. "It's baked by my mother at our bakery! I hope you can visit!" Rian spoke to Jaesi. Rian smiled and waved at Jaesi as she walks out the door. Jaesi lets out a smile as she takes the donut to look at it. Jaesi was touched because of Rian's kindness to her despite her cold-looking behavior. This was how they started to be friends and Jaesi finally opened up to Rian. She was the one who invited Rian to join the leisure club. Jaesi noticed that Rian was intelligent and that is why she invited her.

He always pats her head before leaving when he walks her to her classroom. He also says a lot of things like "Take care" or "Study well" before leaving for his own classroom. They tend to bicker a lot but in a cute way. They seem like they're arguing but they're not. Taehyun's family is their neighbor and that's how they got to know each other.
