Personality:
Sooyeol is a  clingy crybaby. He cries easily and he loves to cling at other especially with someone older than him. He also could be consider as sensitive guy. He might not seems like it, but if you say harsh or mean comment to him, it will really hurt his feeling. He was raised in an enviroment where he could barely hear that kind of comment pointed exactly to him, which why that type of word/comment aren't something that he really used with even though he did heard about it several times before.
Sooyeol is a guy who get easily fascinate and excited. Just by going out would make he feels excited simply. He barely get angry, even if he does, he was advised by her mother to channel it into other activity, which is why he joined the kickboxing club for the sport activity in school. He found it as a facinating way to channel his anger through it.
Despite his childish side, Sooyeol is a good listener. Even though he might not be able to help, but that doesn't stop him from lending his shoulder to the needed. This is probably one of the unusual time when you got to see his mature side(the other one when he's performing and solving puzzles).
Sooyeol is the guy who you can rely the most in helping. He will listen to you well if you ask him to do something nicely. He would gladly to help either in chores, cooking or other things. Most people might look at Sooyeol as if he's stupid. The fact that he's childish didn't mean that he's stupid. He's smart, average smart like how other people is. It just that he is simple-minded, so thinking too hard aren't exactly his cup of tea. And that isn't an excuse for people to disrespect him easily.
Sloppy is his middle name. He aren't the one that would be careful. He slips almost 5 times on a busy day, 3 times on his free day. He could stumble just by trying to stand up from sitting. This why he need someone else to be beside him, to make sure that his face won't kiss the ground or his knee/bump won't get hurt.
Sooyeol is the type that would like to be lead by other in a relationship, this is the reason why his first relationship with a girl fail miserably. After that he didn't involve in other relationship due to his trainee life. Sooyeol could be a bit of pretendious in front the guy he really likes. Usually he would pretend to be a bit weaker than the guy. He didn't do it intentionally, he normally blame his hormone and inner-self for making he do like that.
Sooyeol aren't shy to talk to a stranger. He didn't find it awkward to be left behind with a complete stranger. That is because he always has a subject to talk about. But even though he has it in his mind, the word that he want to actually say didn't really come out as what he wanted it to be. Sometime he would slip out a few words and get embarrass by it.
Aegyo aren't his strong point. He might has a few of it naturally, but if you ask him directly to do it, he would end up doing an awkward one. Even though there might be a cute one(luck), he would always end up feeling embarrass and shy by doing it.
Children. He likes playing with them and he's good at treating them. Most children see him as a their friend who just a bit taller than them. Sometime, the kids felt too comfortable with him to the point where he ends up being bullying by them, which he didn't mind because they are too cute for him to be mad at.
The weird thing about Sooyeol is that he, self-proclaimed that he could communicate with ghost, which make he never afraid of one. He finds ghost is a fascinated subject. And he also self-proclaimed that he could control animal's mind. 

Background:
Sooyeol is the youngest in 3 siblings. He has 2 older sisters which he loves the most. He originally borned in Yongin. But at age 2, his parent decided to take their own path.
After the divorcement, his father moved to Seoul while his mother moved to Pohang. Sooyeol along with his older sisters stayed with their mother. During Sooyeol's childhood, his older sisters were the one who make sure that Sooyeol won't fell in any depression because of their parent divorcement. Sooyeol being raised in a well-off enviroment. His mother has a stable income and the monthly allowance that his father gave are more than enough for their life. Sooyeol was raised without zero pressure in his life. None of his parent and older sisters ever pushed him to do something that he aren't good at or didn't like. But that didn't make Sooyeol change into a brat. His sisters teached him well enough to be a decent person. His sisters mostly became Sooyeol's second parent. Due to his mother's work and his sisters' study, Sooyeol was often being left at their neighbour's. His sisters would fetch him after school and babysit him for the rest of the day. During his stay at his neighbour's, Sooyeol met with his bestfriend, Yitao. They went through almost everything together. They went to the same school since kindergarten till the day, Sooyeol moved. Yitao also the first person to know that Sooyeol's a biual.
Sooyeol always maintain a good relationship with both of his parent. During weekend, Sooyeol would stay over at his father's along with Yitao(in case if Sooyeol might lost his way in Seoul). Sometimes, his sisters would tag along with him. But they didn't stay over like Sooyeol, they would just pay their father a visit. The sisters would stay over once in 2 months, that's only because Sooyeol asked them to do. The sisters aren't in a good term with their father like Sooyeol, which is why they like to be with their mother more.
Since he was 8, Sooyeol decided to become an actor. But when he's 16, his interest lead more toward music than acting. He joined the choir club at first, but didn't last long because the club didn't has much of activities. So then he tried for a band at the school. He played guitar and thanks to the choir club, he got to be the back-up vocalist and rapper, which he didn't mind. His family didn't has any objection about his love toward music.
Sooyeol didn't actually planning to audition at YG at first. He was planning to audition at FNC, but the 2 of their member mates moved away to Seoul. It happen to be that, he over-heard a bunch of teenagers chatting about an audition at YG. He was eating out with his father at the mall in Seoul at that time. Sooyeol did thought about joining the audition. But he didn't think that he is qualify enough to make it. But his father told him that it won't hurt to try. Sooyeol decided to talk with the ladies in his house, and they also told him the same thing. Sooyeol decided to give a try. Few months before the real audition at YG, Sooyeol had spend his time practising his guitar, vocal and rapping skill. His vocal aren't that strong but it was good to hear was what Yitao said on the last practice. On the audition day, the ladies from home, decided to be there for him along with Yitao for support(they stayed at his father's house). That was the first time that his parent ever met after the divorce. Sooyeol looked it as a good sign, because it has been quite a while since he last seen his parent together(last one, when he's 2).
Few days has passed, since the audition, but there were still no call from YG. It was the last day of their stay, Sooyeol thought maybe it wasn't his luck yet but that didn't make he felt sad about it. He and Yitao was out at the playground that evening because Yitao said he suddenly has the urge to play at there. Being the way Sooyeol is, he just followed his bestfriend. After about 1 hour, they went back to his father's house and Sooyeol had been surprised with a feast, cooked by his mother and older sisters. His mother then told Sooyeol that earlier at morning, YG representative has called and said that Sooyeol was accepted.

Daniel always smiling around his family - they acts like how most father and son would do. whenever Sooyeol (with/ without Yitao), he would always make time for his son. usually Daniel would be the second victim that Sooyeol would find to rant out about his unsatisfied or upset toward something. Sooyeol would try to act a bit mature around his father which end up failing. but Daniel would just play along with it, since he finds it funny and cute at the same time.

Mother - Kim Boyoung - 59 - Nursery teacher -8/10 - a loving mother. a hard-working woman. sometime she could be a bit naggy and charismatic at time. -even though she supports Sooyeol in everything that he do, Boyoung tends to be a bit naggy at him for his clumsiness. in return, Sooyeol would act cute at his mother to make she stop nagging him. other than that they has a good mother-son relationship. but unlike when he's with his father, Sooyeol didn't bother to act mature around his mother.

Why do you like him?:
There aren't any particular reason for Sooyeol to like him. It just that something about Luhan that give out spark to Sooyeol when their skin contact. And there would be a few times, when Sooyeol could see a glow radiating all over Luhan. Beside, Luhan seems to be the man in a relationship and he is taller than Sooyeol, which is a plus point for him.

How do you act around each other:
Onstage:
Whenever Sooyeol would acts like how he normally is around Luhan. Sometime, Sooyeol would joking push Luhan away or tell him to stand far away from him because of his height. There are time when Sooyeol would drag Luhan to the fans and give them some fan-service. Sooyeol would show of his weird or the hips dance to Luhan, he would just laugh off or dance with him. But Sooyeol didn't always seen around Luhan because he would stray off finding either any A-Team members, or Sungyeol/Chorong.
Offstage:
Sooyeol didn't really stay close with Luhan or talk to him as much as they onstage. Sooyeol would be preoccupy with s, clinging at them. Sooyeol would make sure that he and Luhan won't being left alone in any circumstance. Whenever if Luhan try to make a conversation with him, Sooyeol would make sure that there will be a third person between them. Overall Luhan is the only person that Sooyeol didn't want to be alone with offstage even though he's EXO's fanboy.

How did you meet:
The way they met didn't really in a special. It was the day when Yitao pay Sooyeol a visit. They were out side, walking at a random street. Sooyeol was happily drinking the chocolate milk that Yitao bought for him.  He was drinking it slowly to make it last until they reach home, but his chocolate milk spilled(he dropped it because he was startled) when a black van stop in front them out of sudden. Sooyeol looked at Yitao and then back to his spill chocolate milk. He then heard the van door being opened. He looked up to see the owner of the van but only to be surpirse when a deer-like guy(Luhan) went out of the van. His sadness over the spill milk gone in a blink. He then quickly stood up and pulled Yitao away from that place. In the end, Yitao bought a new chocolate milk for him.

But Sooyeol didn't has a lot of friends, some of them didn't like Sooyeol's for his personality. It did make he felt upset sometime but that didn't make he give up because he would rant it out at Yitao about it and Yitao would gave some advice and calm him down and sometime he would said sweet things like "It's their lost not your" or "I'll beat them up for you, how dare they did that to my Soo-ah". Just hearing that would make Sooyeol has a good sleep at night. Sooyeol aren't that lonely, because there were still nice trainee that actually want to befriend with him and he still has Yitao by his side, who would visit him whenever he's free.
