In front of the camera, Jinhee comes out as this versatile actress, able to take on any roles namely in melodramas, thrillers or even the usual romcoms. She is no longer an outcast to the acting world, being introduced to acting since her early years. Contrast to her real personality, Jinhee prefers taking on serious and challenging roles to portray and she always has this drive to try on dramas and movies that is out of her comfort zone. Background:
Born in Seoul, Korea, Jinhee lives the typical life of a city girl. She only has one younger brother whom she considers a pain in the . Jinhee was born and raised by two lovely parents; her dad who is a CEO of an insurance company and her mother who is an arts professor at Yonsei University. Jinhee usually gets whatever she needs, being the bratty girl she is, but it is also because she is the only daughter in the family. Her parents are usually out by day and back at home by night, so Jinhee takes on the role as the eldest daughter. Living alone with her brother when their parents are at work sharpened her cooking skills. She would take care of her brother at the evening before they both went to respective training agencies. Jinhee's mother initially disapproved her dream of becoming an actress but soon gave in after watching her middle school play to which she debuted soon after that.
Having the connections and all, Jinhee's father managed to call upon an agent interested in new young actresses to his daughter's middle school's play. There, she played the lead role to which caught the agent's interest. She was immediately scouted after the play by CJ E&M Entertainment. She signs the contract and went on training for a year. She debuted through the film screen, the movie Jenny, Juno, a simple teen pregnancy love story but didn't get much response from the audience. She then was recognized in Unstoppable High Kick before debuting her first official drama, Playful Kiss as the lead role alongside Kim Hyun Joong. That was a breakout role for Jinhee, considering it rose her to fame, landing her more roles, cfs and variety show love calls after that.

Jinhee fangirls together with Krystal, with Jinhee about idols and Krystal about actors. Krystal keeps her updated on who's dating who, who's becoming more popular and who's the number one in the idol world because Jinhee just loves idols. She just has to know everything about them. Krystal also sometimes asks her to help her acting, especially when she has an upcoming role.

Choi Seunghyun or better known as TOP is basically the symbol of hotness in the Kpop industry. He defines perfection in the best way anybody could, and nobody else can say otherwise. His image is said to be the cool, hot guy kind of type whose existence is pretty much loved by girls all over the world. Being a rapper in the famous boy band, Big Bang, adds up to his charm with his y deep voice. He also swoons ladies with his roles in dramas and movies that seem no far different from his image. Behind TOP however, lies this shy, stupid dork that couldn't act any less awkward around people. He only shows this side to his close ones, although, what VIP wouldn't know his nickname, Bingu TOP. He is actually rather shy around girls although he really doesn't need to do anything to make the girls fall head over heels for him. He is also a bit on the clumsy side, and perhaps gullible as well. Whatever his personality is doesn't matter at the end of the day since people will always remember him as the hot visual/rapper in Big Bang.

They had never met officially before, as they have no connections that could introduce them one way or the other. Jinhee thinks it's a shame that she never gets to act with him, despite him being an idol-actor. The first time Jinhee gets to know TOP however was when Big Bang rose to stardom when Lies was released in 2007. She watched the video after a few of friends can't stop fangirling over the boy band. Uninterested at first, her eyes caught the handsome visual, whom in that video was acting as this bad boy who cheated with his best friend's girlfriend. Jinhee immediately declared herself as the biggest fan of the group considering their talents and all, but with TOP, well she just can't help but to fall for his perfect looks. When questioned that TOP is not exactly like her ideal type; someone who looks handsomely charming when they smile, she simply replies, "TOP doesn't need to smile to be handsomely charming." She listened to more Big Bang songs after that, watching every drama and movie TOP was in, buying all the albums, hanging his poster in her bedroom that is the size of a wall calendar. Jinhee decorates her room with all TOP related stuff, pillows, laptop covers, mobile covers, whatever she can get her hands on. She also had multiple times answered that her ideal type is TOP, confessing her love for him openly, which results in her getting teased. Jinhee doesn't mind though, in fact complying to it. During the years she had done variety, she always pesters the PDs and writers to ask TOP to guest star on the show when she is the cast or asks her manager to somehow put her as a guest star in the same episode as him.
