- kookie kookie :: Jungkook uses the advantage of his cute face quite well. One minute he can appear to be your most favourite person and the other he can just transform and annoy you till forever. He likes to go trolling around, teasing his hyungs who are shorter than him, and even joins in the crazy club who dances to girl group dances and sings trot songs all day long. Jungkook is whimsical and can be mischievious at times, if required. He doesn't hesitate to prank his hyungs when time calls for it, so you don't want to be messing around with Kookie here. Surprisingly, he hates to do aegyos, claiming that he'll never succeed in doing so. This is true however, even after multiple tries, he would still be a er at it. Being young, he can be quite impossible to be persuaded at times. He is well-known among his small group of friends for his adamant attitude and they wouldn't even bother advising him to change his decisions in anything in general. They'd be wasting their time if they did, so might as well leave him like that.
INTERACTIONS:
- so I hate you, yes you :: Jungkook and Sohee were infamous mortal enemies since who knows when. They were always fighting, one always demanding that he/she is better or right than the other. Jungkook and Sohyung are actually best friends and even Sohyung himself cannot pinpoint the exact reason these two are like cats and dogs. All he knows is that they never agree on anything and always spend the whole day proving who's right. Sohyung often becomes the victim, forced to choose between the two. Jungkook, or as Sohee calls him, the devil, liked to get on her nerves and her getting irritated was his way of pleasure. They hated each other and that's all there was to it. Not until the Date or Hate app showed up and turned their lives upside down.
- how it all began :: The latest app in this century is a must have for every teenager. Especially for desperate singles who are in need for relationships. Lee Sohee is no different. She too heard about this Date or Hate app from her friends, claiming how affective it is since they match you to guys who would most likely suit your style. She claims it useless but curiosity got the best of her when she secretly installed the app beknowst to anyone. After completing all the steps needed, she waited and waited but got frustrated after no one is matched with her, yet. She had expected that thing to work like LTE but it seemed like finding a match through such app may need some time even for her. Although, she only waited for like 2 minutes, but she swore it was like 20. The next time she checked her phone, she found her match, eye to eye with the date or hate button to this cutie devil named Jeon Jungkook.
- oh, what's the harm? :: Let's just say the story of how she 'accidentally' pressed the date button has something to do with a bored Sohyung who thinks it'll be funny if these two mortal enemies aka his bestie and his noona, go on at least one date together. Sohyung set up everything, arranging their first date after receiving Jungkook's phone number (he doesn't know why Jungkook pressed date as well but who cares). He enlisted Soojung to help him bring Sohee to the date place without her knowing it's a date with Jungkook, to which she gladly agreed since she always thought that those two actually liked each other but just doesn't know it yet. Besides, there's always a saying that if you hate someone too much, you're going to end up marrying him.
- but fate's in charge here :: Their first date was a complete fail as both parties ended up with fighting again. Sohee was the first to storm off, with the idea of killing Sohyung and Soojung in her mind along the way back home. She thought that Jungkook and Sohyung were merely pranking her, not knowing the reason Jungkook actually pressed date when he was really innocent. For some twist turn of events, Jungkook visits Sohyung's house more often than he usually does as they are suddenly assigned for a project in class. Thus, bringing to Sohee bumping into him more than she thought she would. They still bickered, a few yells and shouts were normal to the Lee residence then. She was obviously still upset about the date the other day which she thought was just a prank.
- because I like you, okay! :: One day, Sohyung asked Jungkook to go ahead to his house first since he had to finish something up at school. He got into the house and found Sohee watching tv, he too decided to just join her while waiting for Sohyung. Like an outburst, Sohee asked why he thought it was funny to prank her like that and Jungkook obviously defended himself. She grew angrier as he denied, and of course the two fought, again. Amidst the fight, with a furious Sohee and a frustrated Jungkook, he ended up spilling the reason why he pressed date and not hate. It was because he had been crushing on her for quite some time. Sohee refused to believe, thinking it was another prank, but after confronting Sohyung who willingly admitted it was his own solo act, she started to question if he was serious.
"But I have nothing to do with that!"
"Oh yeah? Okay, okay. Let's say you didn't. Why in the world would you agree to date me?"
"Because...because...."
"Pfft, can't even come up with an excuse, liar? "
"Because I like you, okay!"
- it ain't easy :: After thinking for the millionth time (and with Soojung's persuasion), she decided to give Jungkook a chance since he is kind of cute. All this time, these two have been too busy fighting that they don't give each other a chance to actually know each other's heart. Their start was rough though as the fights still occured, although not as frequent and not as childish. With Jungkook being younger than her, Sohee often viewed him as immature which would often boil Jungkook's blood, and boom, those two would just bicker all day long. They still had their sweet moments but them fighting must've got the best out of them when they abruptly broke up. It was over something silly and tirivial, but Sohee's words of wanting a break up just ended their relationship just like that. Obviously, Jungkook didn't know that 90% of the time a girl said she wanted a break up, she didn't actually mean it. And so he just agreed, which made Sohee think that he really wanted to part from her.
"I can't take this anymore. Let's break up."
"Huh, if that's what you want, then it's fine with me!"
"Oh, so you really want this? Fine, let's break up then! We are over!"
- can't stay mad at you forever :: After their break up, it didn't take long for them to begin their misery way of living. Both started to become less spirited, depressed, as if half of them was taken away. Well, that sort of did happen. Stealing glances at school, sighing as to why they broke up in the first place, avoiding each other awkwardly when they met, even watching them was a pain to the eye. Sohyung and Soojung who had been watching them couldn't take it anymore and so decided to interfere since that was the only way for these two to get their heads straight. They were locked in one of the janitor's closet thanks to Sohyung snitching skills. Staying in one room meaning there was no other way to run, and surprisingly Sohee was the one to speak up. They began as awkward, casual talk about how they've been but then got more serious as both mentioned how they've been missing each other and that they were sorry and all. They fought, but this time without hatred since it was mostly about 'I'm sorry' and 'No, it's not your fault.' It was love. They couldn't stand without each other, and as that realization washed over them, they got back together and hugged it all out. They promised to have more patience and be more understanding if this was going to work. It was going to be hard, but there was a possibility that this could work out perfectly.
