Background -
Saffron was born to an Australian-Filipina composer named Lumiere Ricarte and to a Korean teacher, David Jung. She grew up in a loving family, except her older sister Mercure, who constantly bullies Saffron because she's 'soft-hearted', her sister reasons. That was until she fought back and slapped her sister. Because of this, Mercure bullies Saffron more. Because of this, the family decided to go back to Seoul and send Mercure to her grandmother in Yeonggwang.
