Song: 

This song deviates from their usual hardcore style of music but I enjoyed it nonetheless (but then again, Coffee Shop, Crash, Stop It, Hurricane, and Badman weren't considered "typical" B.A.P songs either so I couldn't really say they deviated too much. They have been experimenting a lot recently...sometimes the results are good...sometimes not so good *cough* Badman *cough*). I don't know if you notice but around the 3:27 mark, 1004 changes into another song (probably another song from their album). It lasts until the 4:00 mark. That song transitioned in and out of 1004 beautifully. I really liked how TSent does it. They did that with Coma in One Shot and it worked out wonderfully.   

Lyrics:

Spoiler alert: Himchan shot himself in the end of the MV. I don't normally look up the lyrics of the a song unless the MV is really intriguing like VIXX's Voodoo Doll. Himchan's suicide in the end is definitely really intriguing. It prompted me to look up the lyrics because initially I thought he was grieving over his girlfriend's death. However, after looking up the lyrics, I realized the man in the song was just upset over a breakup. WHAT THE HELL?! Why did you kill yourself because a girl left you? Yes, I know she was very important to you and you love her but killing yourself over a breakup was going way too far. I think some people would find that romantic but I just find it really depressing.

 I do appreciate that it was an indirect suicide. He shot the mirror and his reflection was actually the one that shot him/the reflection of him. In a way, he didn't really kill himself...he just killed the part of him that was associated with the girl. If you think of it that way, it's actually pretty deep.

Plot:

Is it just me or does girl looks like Taeyeon at some angles? 

Anyway, the MV starts off with BYG running in an empty wasteland with a giant ribcage in the middle (whenever I see that ribcage, I would immediately think of B1A4's Tried to Walk MV. Whatever, Kpop recycles props and sets all the time so it's no big deal). He's running away from his problems. The wasteland symbolizes the emptiness he feels on the inside for losing his love. At one part of the MV, he goes digging. I guess he is trying to retrieve his memories of her.

The part when Daehyun is inside the house and the girl is looking into the house is quite interesting. 

Zelo's awkward hugging moment with the girl is also noteworthy. I think part of the awkwardness comes from the fact that he's so damn tall. I love the color and style of his hair in this MV, SOOOOOOOOOOO much better than Hurricane (please erase his grandma noodle hair from my mind).   

Youngjae is killing me with his face, and his body, and his voice, and his EVERYTHING. Goodness, I mean, Daehyun sounds good in this song but Youngjae sounds even better. This song really suits him. Anyway, back to the plot. He's in this mirror room. The girl walks through and he tries to find her but is unable to track her. He also punches his hand into the mirror and make himself bleed later in the MV.  

Jongup has been getting a lot of lines lately. I like his voice tone, it's very nice. I love that stone wall in the background. It's glorious.

I don't have to talk about Himchan since I talked about him in the Lyrics section. 

Dance:

The weird crab crawling dance in the chorus was interesting. I feel like they would be out of breath doing that during their live stage performances. It might also strain their backs. Hopefully no one gets injured during their comeback because of this dance.

Zelo and Jongup's dance duet in the beginning was good but they weren't insync so it bothered me slightly. Normally, I don't pick up on this when the whole group is dancing together but when it's only 2 people, it really catches my eye. I really like 0:56-0:58. y :)
