Personality:

Marshall is a prankster who constantly speaks sarcasticly. Despite his soft outer appereance, he can quite pack a punch when he's super angry, but people rarely see this side of him, because he's always keeping all his feelings to himself. Marshall is the moodmaker of his group of friends who always seems to have a joke to tell each and every single day. He's quite the loyal friend you can trust on. He's always happy being with his friends. However, when he's alone or with someone he doesn't like, he'll just be a quiet anti-social human being who will just sit there without doing anything, completely the opposite of how he's like with his friends.

Marshall tries to be nice with everyone but if there are some rich kids who are all showy-showy, outside all he can do is smile but on the inside, he's simply throwing daggers at them. Huge ones. Marshall isn't one of those people who wear 10 pounds of acessories, he likes his style simple yet still neat. He feels like wearing that much things all at once just feels plain stuffy. He's also quite the heavy sleeper and it's pretty hard to get him out of bed early in the morning. Marshall is one impatient person, alright. Especially when it comes to food. Keep him waiting more than 15 minutes and he'll skin the servers. Haha. Oh, and he might not seem like it, but he always reads books when he has nothing else to do. In fact, he has a collection of them.

Background:

As the only child of Mr. Lee and Ms. Seo, they both took care of Marshall with much love. Whenever he wanted something, he would just ask for it and he'll get it, alright. But even though he was taken care with much love and affection, Marshall never had the prince disease. He just considered himself to be quite average. Having Korean parents, Marshall obviously has a Asian/Korean looking face but spending nine years of his life living at The Big Apple made him very familiar with English and he could speak it fluently. Because he was not an American, some of the bullies at his school teased and made fun of him, which caused him to be quite shy. After nine years living there, his parents decided to move back to Korea. That was the first time Marshall actually visited his home country.

Because he never went there, nor even spoke in Korean, his first days of school was quite awkward and lonely. He doesn't understand what the teachers were talking aout, or what everyone was talking, in general. Marshall is used to speaking English with his parents too and never before he thought to learn Korean, despite being a Korean himself. That made him really quiet and lonely at school. Marshall would just sit at the back of the class and pretended to understand what the heck the teachers were going on about. As time passed by, some of his classmates tried to communicate with him, fortunately some of them knew basic English. He was shy at first but became cheerful after a few days. He would be constantly laughing with his friends. Not long after that, Marshall was surrounded by friends. Most of his friends were boys, and being the mischievous human beings they are, love to prank either each other, or other people. And he finally managed to speak Korean quite well after spending 3 years there so he was already used to speaking in Korean with his friends now.

Being in Korea, Marshall also developed a interest for K-pop. He even danced to some of the songs' dance moves and even rapped, but alone of course. He was really awkward with people watching him. As he became 13, his passion for music grew bigger and he even tried to create his own beats. Boy being a songwriter was hard.. especially for a 13 year old. After a few months, it hit him! For once he actually knew what he truly wanted to be. He wanted to go and audition. And it's a convienient coincidence that SM Entertainment was having an audition near his place in a few more days, haha! Okay, anyways.. it took a while but he finally gained enough courage to ask his parents for permission to audition (in Korean of course, he started to speak it with his parents and they were quite  impressed by it). At first his father disagreed and said that he should focus on his studies more but his mother, being the supportive eomma she is, said that it was time for him to learn being independent for himself and that actually convinced him! Marshall felt like the happiest person alive~ (lol why does this sound so lame)

The day before the audition, Marshall practised non-stop. He decided that he would do raps, since he's more awkward with singing. Marshall decided not to dance because he's afraid of tripping or anything that would embarrass him. On the audition day, his mother went with him to the audition to give his son some support. He was of course nervous but he just focused on his rapping more than anything else. After the audition was done, his mom hugged him and said that he did his best. The next few days, Marshall was nervous yet eager to find out if he got casted or not. On one day, he got a phone call and moments later, the boy was tightly hugging both of his parents. His mother asked what was with the sudden affection and Marshall happily said that he got accepting as an SM trainee, which made her mother a bit teary from the great news. Marshall then knew that this was the start of his trainee life.

When he has free time, he would constantly help his mother to cook, but just by cutting the ingredients and then his mother would do the actual cooking. Marshall doesn't really know how to actually cook anything. All he knew how to cook were instant noodles, and that's it. But just by spending some time together in the kitchen has brought them closer to eachother.

Park Chanyeol - 21 - EXO member - 9 - silly, clumsy, prankster - just like Marshall, he's a mischievous prankster who lives to prank people, his groupmates being the constant victims. They would always team up and form a duo other people call as 'The Vampire And The Virus (short for CY's nickname, Happy Virus)' or '2V', for short. And believe it or not, they were proud of it. - Marshall and Chanyeol are best buds and would constant hang out with eachother. It's now a common sight to see both of these troublemakers together, either pranking or just plain talking and chatting.
Bang Yongguk - 23 -  B.A.P member - 8.5 - fun, outgoing, calm - Marshall and Yongguk are rap buddies together and are always practising together while still enjoying themselves. Despite the , they act as if they've met each other for a long time. When rapping together, Yongguk acts like Marshall's mentor who is always there to help him. Sometimes Zelo is there to help him, too. Because of them, Marshall is now a lot better at rapping. - Yongguk treats Marshall like how he treats the other B.A.P members, a brother. Why do you like him?: Kyungsoo is nice and sometimes a shy one. He is hardworking and serious whenever practising but always goof around whenever he's not. He cares for s and his friends and acts almost like a second eomma for them. They both also enjoy reading books and books simply bring them closer. Marshall always has that wide smile whenever he's with him.
 

How do you act around each other:

Onstage: Whenever they're on the big stage together, they are like any typical friends do. They simplysing and high five together. They don't really talk with eachother on stage.

Offstage: When all the fans and cameras are gone, Kyungsoo and Marshall are more closer with eachother. They would walk around and even sometimes get bubble tea, since they both love the beverage oh, so much. Both of them are quite awkward with skinship, they furthest they did was arms over eachothers' shoulders. Even though Kyungsoo is just a few inches shorter than him, they don't really make a big deal with it. Kyungsoo rarely laughs or enjoys himself with new people but for some reason, Marshall's excluded.
 

How did you meet: Marshall was at a bookstore, searching for a specific book he has heard of that he thought might be interesting. Looking at all the cupboards, he finally found the book he wanted but unfortunately, somebody else was already holding it. Marshall didn't want to bother him but he accidentally let out a loud sigh which made the person holding the book look at him. He asked if he wanted the book but Marshall just said that it was fine and wanted to leave the store but before he did that, the man stopped him and gave him the book which made Marshall quite confused. He then told him that he could take it and told him that he already had a lot of books to read while pointing at the small pile of books nearby. He thanked the man and said his name. The man then smiled while saying his name to him, which was Do Kyungsoo.

-Kyungsoo borrowed a book from him and he forgot to give it back so Marshall decided to go to EXO's dorm (which apparently was unlocked) and went to Kyungsoo's room which was obvious with the huge sign in front of the door that says 'DO KYUNGSOO' (let's just say each of the members have their own rooms). After 20 minutes of time wasted searching for the book, Marshall decided to just wait for him to get back and simply ask him where the book was. Marshall lied on the bed, covering his whole body with the blanket and accidentally dozed off. When Kyungsoo got back, it was already 1.00 a.m and he decided to just go to sleep. Lying on the bed, he faced the other direction of where Marshall was and pulled on the blanket, which revealed Marshall sleeping but they both didn't realize this. The next morning, a member was going to wake Kyungsoo up since he wakes up the last and was shocked to see Marshall there too. He then closed the door, being worried and confused of why the two were sleeping together and imagined the 'things' they could've been doing (this is just too funny XD not to mention, quite long haha)

Trainee Life:

Marshall had his fun and hard times as a trainee. He was serious when practising but the only problem was that he constantly overworked himself to the point that he once badly sprained his ankle and couldn't dance for two whole months. Some of the trainees cheered him up saying that his dance was very good while others said that he tries too hard to acomplish something he could never achieve. The first time he heard those harsh comments, he really felt sad but after spending nine years with them, he has gotten quiet and really doesn't say anything about it. That was what made him have that sometimes-anti-social personality of his. Marshall now just ignored those and just focuses on what he has to do while trying his best to not overwork himself again.
