PERSONALITY — She cannot and will not talk to strangers. Even if you put her in front of many strangers and try to force her to talk, she can't. She'll probably choke up under pressure. She can't initiate a conversation. When someone does eventually talk to her (as much as she hates it, it will eventually happen), she will answer in short and to the point answers. She will be very protective of herself and not give away much information. She will be in her own little bubble, and try to be away from the world. Because of her trying to avoid others and her small and quiet answers, she has awkward conversations more than often. Most people's first impression of her is that she is cold, and that she hates the human race. The way to break this bubble is to make her laugh. Not a small giggle or anything, but a big hearty laugh. Once you do, she will open up more and talk more comfortably. She won't seem cold anymore. Once you get to know her, you will find that she is very warm and loving. She cares alot about the people she actually cares about and is very loyal. You will never hear of her backstabbing or talking badly about any of her friends. Although she can talk very logically to others and is very knowledgeable, she can easily get confused when others speak to her in this way. It doesn't usually happen, but she has what she calls her stupid moments. It usually happens when she is tired and isn't thinking straight. With many people she meets, she has a different set of values and beliefs than them. She respects their ideals and beliefs, but she expects the respect to be mutual. She hates it when people preach their stuff by shoving information into people's faces. When someone annoys her where she can't stand it anymore, she will usually start cursing under her breath in Cantonese. In San Jose and in Korea, she found that not many people know Cantonese. So, she uses Cantonese so that most people won't be able to understand.

BACKGROUND — She was born in San Jose and grew up there for 12 years of her life. She has always been the nerd in school and never had many friends. In America, she had a small group of 3 friends (including herself). She was never really bulllied, but even if she was the bullies would stop because Mei Ting showed them no emotion. She lived a quiet life. When she was young (around 3-5) she helped her mom bake a cake for her father's birthday. That sparked her interest in baking and cooking and she has loved it ever since. When she was 12, her family had to move to Korea for her father's work (his client was moving back to Korea and payed her father a lot of money to move to Korea and continue to take care of him) and she had to start anew. It was really hard at first because of the language barrier, but she worked hard in her Korean studies so that she could talk to others. She is still a student working hard to graduate. Her goal is to go to Seoul National University, but to study abroad at Harvard Medical or Stanford Medical School after getting her bachelor degree in Seoul. She is currrently living with her family in a middle class house. Not too big, not too small, not too fancy, just right. She is just taking this job starting this year because she wants to get money to help with the college funds that will be needed.

He sticks to what he does and does everything until the end. However, he also has a fun side to him. He will joke around and mess around with friends. He is very warm hearted and caring. He loves to make others smile, as well as smiling himself. He doesn't like it when others make fun of him, especially about his height. If they do, he will try to hold back but his temper might take control of him. RELATIONSHIP — They have met once, when she went to be interviewed for the job. So, they are currently strangers. She went in for the interview. When she came out, Kyungsoo was coming out for his break. She, as always, wasn't looking where she was going and accidently bumped into him. She said sorry and he said okay and she was on her merry (kinda) way. Right now, if they were to meet again, I don't think they would super recognize each other. It would be more like a have I seen you somewhere before kind of thing. |
