For sleep time my grandma has a very good trick that consists on chopping an onion in half and placing one half in your nighstand or wherever near to your bed so you can smell it. Yes, onion smell isn't very pleasant but you'll notice in the morning how your difficulties breathing while you slept reduced. It also stops you from coughing for the whole night, so it's a win win! I do this every time I catch a cold and it really works :)

Hope it helps xo

Well my doctor usually tells me the same stuff: do not drink cold liquids, stay away from sweets and dairy, lots of rest (so your body has more energy to fight off the cold) and everything else everyone has been telling you ^__^

What I do when I have a cold is,
1. rest for a few day (do not overwork yourself)
2. eat and drink work brothy food (ie: soups and stew)
3. Drink honey tea (for the sore throat)
4. drink plenty of water
5. stay warm
6. for the stuffy nose at night make sure your room isn't too warm

Hope this helps~^^

It's better to consult with your doctor especially if it's a cold. They'll know better treatments for you.
For sore throat, my mom usually give me Ginger tea (boil some Ginger in water and drink it but make sure you cut it up in slices and balance it out or else it will sting a lot
