Is this for a guy you like? The "fell in love" part made me think that. Well if it is: if he doesn't appreciate you for who are you, then he's not worth your time.

If it's your parents again: all parents want their children to be perfect, but they will learn to accept you in time. Once they learn that you're truly happy that way, they'll accept you for who you are.

Don't worry, I'm sure they will come to understand you. My own parents don't know everything that I do. Example: that I write fanfics! They would be horrified if they found out that I write a whole bunch of ... My mom gets really mad about the kpop stuff and she's trying to get me off it, but I won't stop. K-Pop makes me happy. I want to be happy.

You deserve to be happy and they will see that. :)
