Confused :(

If GOD loves me for WHO I am and WHAT I am......

 

Then,

 

 

does God still loves me if I admit that I am a Lesbian?? 
 

 

I'm a devoted christian. I have faith and believed in Him all of my life. But, I'm still confused about this topic. 
I'm not satisfied about how priest, pastors and etc. explained or says that being a homoual is a sin. Even straight people to such lustful works! Nobody's perfect. Even pastor's, priest and etc. had sins. 
I admit, sometimes I doubt of His existence but He proved me wrong. He doesn't ever leave me, He always with me. He always been my strength and my refused in every day of my life. But, there is still one question that I still can't get the answer that can satisfy my confusion....... that only can God can answer it. For me, Religion can't save you.. it's about your relationship with God - your faithfulness~!

well, i think it's not bad being a lesbian, because i'm one too :). it's just that, some people are narrow minded and doesn't accept homouality. Nobody's perfect :)

Well, if you were looking for proof inside the bible, read Genesis 19: 1-25
it speaks of what that.

I live in a household full of devout Catholics, and I went to a Catholic High School, and I've always been taught that we are all sinners, none of us are perfect-- only He is, and so long as we believe he will forgive our sins.

Of course, I am agnostic myself, and I believe in the 'live and let live' philosophy, in other words, if it's not hurting anybody, then why not? As long as you're not hurting anyone else, it really shouldn't make you feel guilty.

There are only 3 unforgivable sins (as speaking of the bible) murder of a child, of a child, and suicide. As long as you are strong about what you believe God will forgive of all sins except those 3. Don't stop or change anything just be happy.

I say this extremely hesitantly, as I am not particularly religious, although nothing has given me any reason to doubt His existence, but as I was raised in an agnostic/atheist household and haven't really had much religious experience, I think my connection to Him is simply spiritual. It was, however, self produced.

I have felt like God is an ally that will always be there for guidance. I strongly believe that He loves all, and maybe, is love itself. Love is limitless. It has no borders and no constrictions. If He is love, then why would he hate?

well loving is not a sin, is it? there's nothing really wrong about loving the same gender and yes it does say on the bible that "Marriage is between Man and Woman." But never said Love is between Man and Woman, right? another thing is the society. Our society now are very narrow minded. They think that lgbtq are bad for the society but look at Ellen everyone freaking loves her and she prolly is one of the nicest celebrity I know after Oprah. this is just my opinion but i hope this will help you. ^^

I am lesbian myself, and I believe a thing will be consider as a sin if it's give harm to other people.
