Absolute Chanyeol by Leadernim -what I think about this fic-

The moment I decided to read this story I knew I would regret it. Not because of its quality, no. It is absolutely wonderful! A great one! Nevertheless, because I knew I wouldn’t be able to contain my feelings right after I finished the last word.

Chanyeol isn’t the perfect robot but that’s okay with Baekhyun because he is anything but the perfect human.

That sentence represents something about slice of life -or at least, mine-. I could picture myself in Chanyeol’s role as Baekhyun told me and patted my shoulder, “Yeah, that’s okay. It’s okay not to be perfect.” It captured my heart right after I spotted it under the title. So when the author decided to write the quote once more in the middle of the story, I knew I’d need a tissue box as a company. *sighs* What a dramatic girl! XD

In the middle of part 2, I was wondering how Baekhyun really feel about Chanyeol, his robot boyfriend. At some point, I guessed I agreed with Tao, that human isn’t supposed to fall in love with a robot. A mere programmed machine. A thing, that doesn’t have real feeling. So I made an assumption. Maybe it’s not the feeling like your father falling in love with your mother. Maybe it’s something more like how attached you were with your precious doll or pet when you were kid. Something that you would carry everywhere, talk to every time -eventhough you know it would never answer you back-, bring it to bed every night, consider it as your best friend and then when it lost or broken or dead, you would find yourself hurt, cry for hours, mourn over it and finally let it go with your memories with it kept safely somewhere in your heart.

This fic did nothing but left me the feeling like something was tightly clenching my heart. I really tried to hold back my tears through the whole parts and I thought I’d survive…except when I came to  Chanyeol’s letter. BAAMM!!! And I lost it. Good thing was there’s no one beside me at the time and would question my puffy eyes lol XDD

I always think that whenever the authors write something, they also try to tell something to their readers. Be it a message or a simple share of their feeling. At the end of this story, I found a question, “Is she trying to tell us what humanity is?”

Sadly, the original story has been deleted (I was lucky to be able to find it somewhere else). I don't understand why the author did it. She locked a lot of her stories too. I mean..her works are amazing..so why? Plagiarism? :(

p.s.: I broke my own words to my friend when I read this hahaha XDD I said that I promise myself not read any angst story with a death character. I'm sorry Czairin. Umm~~you can say that…I wanted to challenge myself? ^_^
