So last year I did a paper on this medieval painter by the name of Albrect Dürer. He made hundreds of self portraits during his time as an artist in an attempt to better understand himself, the first of which was created when he was eight years of age. 

Today (well more like tonight/early morning/1 am) I made my first self portrait just because and I realized why Dürer made so many; one painting hasn't helped me discover who I am any more than no paintings did. Yes, I'm a teenager an teens aren't supposed to know who they're are. That's what being a teen is about; a lengthy journey of self discovery. 

I figure maybe ill end up making more of these in the future because old Albrect could've definitely been onto something.
