So I've never had a beta before. Like I haven't even edited my own stories I just leave them as they were the second I finished them. 

But now I'm starting to think that it might be a good idea because edited writing is always so much easier and better to read than not edited writing. 

The only issue is that I have no clue how to go about it. Who qualifies as a beta? How do I get one? How do we correspond, even? 

Its probably not very complicated in reality but I just really know almost nothing except for that a beta is an editor(?)
