Yoona's road to acting was never easy. She received so much harsh criticisms from netizens/public/viewers as an actress/idol-turned-actress. The first lead role in 2008 as Jang Sae Byuk in You Are My Destiny was her breakthrough in her acting career and became one of her biggest achievements as she gained recognition and awards. Later on, she took on roles in Cinderella Man, Love Rain but both dramas were not well-received. I'm sure everyone is aware that she received backlash for the low ratings. Even till date, her newest drama - Prime Minister & I unfortunately did not receive the best response from viewers due to whatever reasons there exist. 

She does not give up. She learns from each and every experience and stays humble despite all the achievements she may have. Her down-to-earth personality is what touches me and inspires me to be a better person every day. Yoona is my role model.

In 2013 KBS Drama Awards, she won the best couple award (with Lee Beom Soo) and the excellence award (mini series). I'm really proud of her and seeing how her hard work are paying off, it inspires me to work even harder in the coming new year.

I just want to say 'Congratulations, Yoona! You deserve it.' and I hope everyone continues to support her.
