So.. EXO, 2NE1, and BIGBANG were in a list that said that these three groups had the WORST fandoms ever (there were more groups on there but these are the three that I love most). I can understand EXO since EXO has a lot of immature and sasaeng fans. Only a handful of mature fans exist and I'm happy that all my friends are mature EXO fans. But 2NE1 and BIGBANG? Blackjacks and VIPs? Are you serious? Like I just can't believe that there are people who actually think that Blackjacks and VIPs are bad. VIPs rarely get involved in fanwars and I'm pretty sure A LOT of VIPs stood by GD and Daesung's sides when they were at their lowest. The same goes for Blackjacks. We're rarely involved in any kind of war UNLESS YOU START IT FIRST. So naturally we would fight back because who the are you to insult our fandom and the artists that we admire? Did they hurt you? Did they say something bad about you? NO. 

All these fans are driving me crazy! Especially the immature ones. Mature fans don't start fanwars. Mature fans befriend other artists/fandoms. Mature fans don't bash other groups/fandoms unless someone brings us into the fight. 

Sometimes, being an EXO fan makes me embarrassed but then I'll think, "What do they care? I like EXO. I like their music. I don't bash other groups/fandoms who say bad things about them. I don't care about what they think since I'm a fan of EXO and not them." I keep myself cool and ignore all these bad things. WHY CAN'T SOME OF YOU DO THE SAME? 

This also applies to whenever someone bashes BIGBANG and 2NE1. I defend these three groups calmly and that's it. I don't want to get involved in fanwars since they just drain me of positive energy. And who wants bad energy in them? I just leave all the aggressive responses to other fans because hey it's their life, what do I have to do with it? And responding aggressively to hate posts, bad reviews, bad opinions, and other negative thing with ANOTHER negative thing like bringing down another, different group is NOT A GOOD THING. 

These three groups are involved in more ways than one especially with Chanyeol being a Blackjack and Kris and Tao being VIPs and I'm pretty sure the other EXO members are fans of 2NE1 and BIGBANG. GD himself said that he likes EXO. Seungri also said that he likes EXO and wanted to take care of them. So why the fight? Why the fanwars? I DON'T REALLY GET IT. 

Honestly, I know a lot of other fandoms hate EXO since they're in the spotlight right now. I get your hate of course since I went through that when f(x) was being overshadowed by other girl groups especially their senior labelmate, SNSD. But hating because they're popular is ridiculous. Hell, DBSK was popular and they had a lot of sasaengs (they still do) but it's the real fans that count. They love us real fans. They appreciate our efforts in trying to clean the name of their groups. 

I don't believe that we have the worst fandom (EXO, BB, and 2NE1) it's just that a lot of people hates those three groups. BUT I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR ING OPINIONS. I care about that artists that I love. If you hate them, then so be it. I can't force you to like them. NO ONE DOES. 

And not to mention that stupid fight between a Japanese Cassie and a Chinese EXO stan fighting outside the SM Building in Korea. Seriously, you're both giving Cassies and EXO fans a bad name T.T 

Honestly, people who get involved in fanwars have big egos and pride. Because people with huge egos and pride can't back down, they can't let the other party win, and they can't handle losing. 

LISTEN UP. There's no problem in defending your groups. But once is enough, why do you have to stress yourself out? These hate posts are there to rile you up and make you feel unhappy. Remember, these haters post thing because they are jealous. That's actually the root cause of all fanwars. Jealousy and Envy. Isn't it enough that you know your group's success? Isn't it enough that you're supporting them without dirtying the fandom's name? Yes, involving yourself in fanwars dirties the fandom's name. So please, JUST IGNORE THEM.
