Wishlist

I should have posted this a week ago but I got soooo busy o_O

So anyways, before I start let me just spazz for a bit because 2 months ago today was SS5Manila :') I still can't fully absorb it. Seriously. But that's not the main point of this blog. It's about my wishlist during the holiday party at work and the merch I got ^-^

WISHLIST

Two weeks before the party, there was this wishlist that they passed around work for the exchange gift. You're gonna write there what you want to receive so it won't be too hard on the one who picked your name. Others wrote clothes, jacket, electric fan, wine, toolbox, rice cooker etc you know, useful stuff.

As for me, I didn't have to think about what I want. I wrote:

"Super Junior BONAMANA. Available @ Astroplus or SM Department Store"

Yeah I wrote that all so that the one who picked me won't have a hard time looking for it :) Yep coz I'm a sweet nice girl. *glares at anyone who would disagree*

On the day of the party, I was quite worried. I tried to look for a small gift on the pile of gifts because I know mine's the smallest. But all I saw were huge boxes o_O and then the party went on. There were recognition ceremonies because of the retirees and our chief admin will be moving to a different unit, and then some officers sang, there were raffles blah blah blah... and then it's time for the gifts!!!

I was paying close attention and then chief Lyndon picked up a small gift... there was a smile on my face when I saw it coz I knew it was the album!

But before we give the gifts, we had to describe who we picked. So he stated:

"Yung nakuha ko, Maka-Diyos, Maka-Tao, Makakalikasan at Makabansa..."

That part is the national motto of our country which is officially translated to: "For God, for the People, for Nature and for the Country."

At first I couldn't get my connection with that motto, and then he pointed out that the I loved the country so much all he could see me doing is everything related to Koreans xD with that I didn't need to be called. I stood up and claimed my gift.

They all laughed and requested that I speak in korean, but I get stage fright. I should have said "Annyeonghaseyo yeoreobun. Seonmul ieyo, jeongmal joahaeyo. Kamsahamnida." but I thought about that when I got back to my seat xD

Anyways, I received a lot of gifts that day and the others went home dragging huge boxes.... but I know I'm the happiest one because of this! <3
