Personality: Ryusia is strong, fiercely independent and her beauty exudes through her qualities and magnetism. Trainee History: ryusia’s trainee life was anything but easy. having to handle 8 – 10 hours of training each day with limited freedom and not being able to communicate with her brother how lived back in Watts, Los Angelesat the time was something she couldn’t handle. the simple work outs were a big challenge and she always seemed to be starting up conflict between other trainees. back in her trainee days, ryusia was a bit of a problem-starter. every time a new trainee would come into the company, she’d be in charge of “teaching them”, getting them “caught up” when she’d actually start fights and push them around. she was actually suspended from all trainee activities for a year and a half for her misconduct. but you had to understand that her family life at home wasn’t very good when she was young, and so that’s what influenced her bad attitude. but now, as big of a problem starter that she was, when it came down to music—rapping, her forte, she’d be in the zone. breakdancing? same. when she was given the opportunity to begin recording and testing out her raps and actually being featured in some of the biggest rap stars’ tracks was something she couldn’t pass up. and when Lee Soo Man-nim finally gave her the chance to start training again, she jumped right on board.

- ryusia, while living in Watts, would send in various mixtapes of her rapping along with videos SM later found on various break dancing blogs about her. she was quite popular even before debut.

- The relationship between her parents well, mostly her father since her mother died in the process of giving birth to her, wasn’t all it could have been. Her father was harsh, strict and cold. Now the relationship between her brother and her is a little rough since they haven’t seen each other in years. He lives a successful life back in Beverly Hills, first living in Watts, Los Angeles after moving from Sofia, Bulgaria. She’s been busy with her idol life and not being able to see her brother in years has put quite the boundary between both siblings.
