JS and HYUNA REBLOG

I'm so pissed off right now, because my webpages just completely froze and I had like two paragraphs here (long paragraphs) written and I just lost all of that. That took me such a long time.

GOSH SO ANNOYED.

Anyways.

...

AUGH.

I can't get out of this mood.

Anyways,

Heyyy, it's that time, it's time for a blog follow up!
Hyunseung and Hyuna recently had their comeback performance on Inkigayo with Troublemaker and The Words I Don't Want to Hear.

Let's start with The Words I Don't Want to Hear. It's a slower balladish song, but I wouldn't even call it a ballad because it doesn't have enough emotion into it. Or at least, they didn't put enough emotion into it. Hyunseung's voice was alright in this, but compared to Hyuna's....Hyuna's voice just sounded a lot weaker. Though I don't really blame her because she's a rapper and he's a singer...
At the end of the performance, Hyuna is supposed to hit a "high note" (it's not even that high) but it in the performance... it was...not so great, and by not so great I mean cracked and off tune. Yeah, not so good. The fact that she didn't hit the note doesn't bother me as much in it of itself. I mean who knows, that could've been a one time thing and she just happened to not hit that note in the performance. But...after reading some of the comments "Hyuna's improved so much!" "I think we should give more support to Hyuna!" It just seemed that she had overall weak vocals and that note wouldn't be hit very well on a daily basis. I was thinking that....shouldn't an idol that's debuted for a while already (4 minute's been out for at least 2 years now-close to 3 I think) be already good at singing/rapping and dancing? She's a rapper, but ...I still think she should be good at singing. At least if she's not good at singing, put one of the other members out to do ballads in a duo and have Hyuna focus on rap.

Which leads to the Troublemaker performance! In which there was overally y choreography, awkwardness, and Hyuna's short dress! The choreography was expected from the MV and their MAMA performance, but they seemed a lot more awkward here. Maybe because it was on a music show and it was their debut, they could've been nervous. Their vocals weren't too great, again probably nervousness, and maybe we should just use the excuse of it being a dance song. It really isn't a "singing song" anyways. (The thing is....her rap didn't sound exactly strong either. Maybe she just has a weak voice in general or the mics were bad)

The background dancers during that performance..were...well ...let's just say they looked odd and leave it at that.

LASTLY. Her dress. ....If you just look at it you'll agree with me that it was too short. There's a limit to "y" before during into.... ahem. Anyways, she had to keep pulling it down, and that shows something. It wouldn't even matter if she was comfortable in it and didn't have to pull it down, but if since she did that, we just felt the awkwardness. It was palpable.

Now that just took me a while to write again >.<

Am I done? ....

(I like the studio version better)

That's all <3

BEAST is usually very good live and I don't much about 4minute as well. But I know that HyunA is a rapper and not a singer. (She's not very good at it anyways...or rapping..) Anyways, I didn't notice that xD
