Congrats To Shinee Jonghyun

I heard that Shinee Jonghyun came out of the shadows and gave out his opinions on gay marriage. Firstly, lets clap and celebrate! He's like the only freaking kpop idol that finally gave his own opinion about gay marriage and that he supports it. Maybe there was more, but this one became really noticeable than the others.

But, I'm not sure what's wrong with this because a lot of shawol are leaving the fandom and the kpop fans are saying rude comments to him. I know that Korea really doesn't except those kind of relationships, but there's really isn't a difference between gay and non-gay relationship. The difference is just the gender of it. REALLY?! There's like maybe half of the kpop fans are pretty much gay or ect. And to the fans that left shawol just because of his opinion, you weren't a fan in a first place. If you were, than you would still support them even with things like this. You SHOULD be proud on how brave Jonghyun was to say his opinions despite the fact that he knew he will get negative responses, losing fans, and getting more anti fans. He was brave to say it on twitter one of the most famous websites in the world. I'm a fan of them and so much more groups to come and I ain't leaving the fandom just because of that. I think who ever is saying rude things and leaving shawol should just pass the judgments in life, and think. Think how Jonghyun feels, how the remaining fans feels, or how gay people/couples feels. Imagine being in their shoes. Imagine being Jonghyun who felt proud yet scared at the same time once he posted up his opinion knowing what's to come, the fans who felt proud yet upset that one of their idols are being criticized for something like this, and the gay couples/people who are so happy that someone famous in a country that doesn't except gay marriage let alone gay people themselves say that they support it, yet they feel guilty for that one famous person is getting negative responses just because of he's just showing his support to gay marriage. If you were a real shawol, no, I mean if you were a REAL kpop fan, than this wouldn't bother you at all. This wouldn't make anything change in your mind or mood except that you felt proud that at least a kpop idol has finally risen up to give out his/her true opinions about things that even their country hasn't excepted yet, and say it out.

Jonghyun is mostly a role model to rookie groups because he's not only showing his support for gay marriage, but he's showing that even though we live in a country that doesn't except gay marriage, we can be brave because despite the negative things there are people who are suffering because of this. There people who are taking high risks to change their body so they would get excepted to the community again, and maybe more dangerous. What's the difference does it make? Jonghyun didn't change, he just gave out his opinion and his support to gay marriage. We should be proud because now a days kids younger than us are starting to understand what's going on around them. And if they want the generations to be successful than why not except gay people? Because half of that generation is going to be gay or transual when they grow up, and acting like this can lower their confidence through everything that's public.

Since we are a community of kpop, we should be proud, except the negative responses with Jonghyun, and defend him. Even if you aren't a fan of his, you are a fan of kpop, and since Shinee, and Jonghyun are part of kpop, we should support him, and from now on when a kpop idol/group goes down, we all go down because we are a family. Even if we're different or we never met each other, this website is meant for us. It's meant not only for stories, but meeting people along the way from different countries. If you can't say anything in public than you have here to say it. We should support each other like how we support our kpop idols/groups.

As A Kpop Fan,

We are not only fans,

We are friends,

But now we are more than friends,

We are a family not only to each other,

But to others to come,

And to our hard working yet cheerful idols too.

Thank You

For being here, reading this, meeting you all, and for supporting kpop through thick and thin.

Thank you for saying this~~ I don't understand those people who left. What's wrong with gay relationships. They're still in love right? And I admire Jonghyun for getting his opinion out there.
