Personality; As the drama queen of the group, Minyoung is the outgoing, bubbly and over-dramatic one. She likes to go on adventures and you'll never find her spending time in her home for more than half a day. She's always out making friends from different cities in Sinnoh and of course, never forgetting to join the Pokemon Super Contest in Hearthome City. She's always in a good mood and you will seldom find her being angry or moody. She's always the first one to laugh at jokes and she laughs even when no one finds it funny. She's always very friendly and helpful to the people she meets along the way, helping them with catching wild pokemons or giving a nice accessory. This is why she is known as the Queen of Sinnoh because almost everyone knows about her. She hates being alone, hence she will try to get attention from people around her. She's well known as the drama queen as she tends to be exaggerating in her actions, like fangirling over the hot gym leaders or shrieking over wild pokemons. She can be demanding sometimes, so if she set her eyes on something she likes, she must get it or she will rant on and on. She also has a short attention span - definitely not the right person for a heart-to-heart talk. She is an open book - she doesn't hide what she feels and sometimes her true feelings might hurt people. However, she has a different side when it comes to pokemon. She would be more serious and concentrated during her battles. However, she doesn't like evolving Pokemon because she likes the cute unevolved form of them and also because she believes that the true purpose of Pokemon is the strong friendship bonds shared and not the battle towards championship.

Background; Minyoung was born in Oreburgh City, Sinnoh to a family who has a rich relationship with Pokemon. Minyoung's father is Byron, the gym leader of Canalave City. Minyoung does not really remember her father as he had left for Canalave City when she was young. She spent most of her childhood with her mom and brother. Her brother is Roark, the gym leader of Oreburgh city. From young, Minyoung had been exposed to Pokemon and had a great interest but her mom did not allow her to have one. When she was 12, she secretly sneaked to her brother's gym and she accidentally released Rampardos from the pokeball. It was the first time she actually saw a Pokemon that looked so big and scary, she was so scared that she ran home crying. Her mom decided that it was time that Minyoung had one to protect herself too since she's always out getting in trouble. Her first pokemon was a water-type Piplup which was cute but stubborn. Piplup does not like the idea of evolving, hence he holds an everstone. Minyoung and Piplup has formed very close bonds with each other and they are always together. Minyoung's dream is to complete her Pokedex and make friends with every Pokemon.

Personality; Kris is a cold and quiet guy. He rarely talks and glares at people often. He is someone who will mind his own business and would rather keep to himself than interact with others. He is hardworking and also unscrupulous, so if he wants something, he will get it by hook or by crook. He trains his pokemon very hard and he never loses a battle most of the time. He is also very blunt and sarcastic, so he doesn't care if his words will hurt you or not. He does not act on impulse and he thinks clearly about the pros and cons before he acts on something.
How you guys met; they used to be childhood friends but one day, Kris just disappeared and they said he moved away. She met him again when she accidentally entered Team Galactic's grounds.
How you guys treat each other; Minyoung believes that there must be a reason why Kris disappeared long ago and changed for the worse. She is determined to find the old Kris back. Kris warns Minyoung that she should not get too close to him or she will get hurt.

Personality; She has a similar personality to Minyoung but she is more scheming and filled with jealousy. She is very competitive and craves for attention and fame. She acts as a nice, friendly person in front of guys but in front of other girls, she glares at them and sees them as threats to her popularity. Her pokemon are very bad tempered and untamed because she doesn't spend time with them and she would rather hang out with her friends then forge closer bonds with her pokemon.
How do you treat each other; Bora always act like she's really close to Minyoung but behind her back, she spreads rumors about her. When Minyoung found out, she was really angry but she didn't scold Bora but try not to hang out with her.
Why are you rivals; Bora was jealous of Minyoung's popularity, she always felt that she was better than the latter, but people always liked Minyoung over her. Hence, she made it her goal to be better than Minyoung in all ways. Because Minyoung had water-type pokemon, she chose her partner to be grass-type pokemon because grass moves were super effective against water type. There was once Bora's pokemon attacked Minyoung's Piplup, causing it to faint and unable to join the Pokemon Super Contest.
