Born in Los Angeles, USA, Isabelle was the second child in the family. She has an older half-brother who is Jay Park. Not many know of their relationship. Isabelle's mother was a music teacher in a high school. Isabelle's father was a businessman. From young, Isabelle was exposed to music and that is why she always wanted to be a singer. Isabelle also joined many singing competitions and was more interested in singing than actually studying. When she was 17, her father's company ventured into South Korea and hence, they had to move and study there. Isabelle was more than happy because she had known KPOP back in USA. She was street-casted when she was 18 and hence, she began her trainee journey to stardom. Even though it was harsh at first because she wasn't the best at her Korean and also she had to train really hard, she never gave up because she knew this was what she wanted and her parents also supported her.

Isabelle would come across as a girl who is really confident of herself. She doesn't make unrealistic dreams and she set goals that she would work towards to. She has a bubbly and cheerful personality, hence she's always very active and brings up the moods of people around her. She tends to keep her inner thoughts to herself more. She also likes to joke around and throw a few puns here and there. She's also the caring one, where she would help others out when they need help. She's a little clumsy, sometimes losing her things and ends up finding it after a few months. She is also very protective of her friends, so if anyone tries to harm her friends, she would get really upset.

Kris fell in love with the bubbly, down to earth and confident personality of Isabelle. Isabelle fell in love with the warm at heart, dorky and quirky side of Kris. They often meet each other when they were trainees and Kris would have rapping classes with Isabelle. Also, in the upcoming girl group, Kris was the counterpart of Isabelle because she was supposed to be the leader. Kris confessed to Isabelle before she debuted as a solo and from then on, they were a couple. Isabelle would often visit Kris during his practices and sneak up on him. They would hang out together in the night in the park, just talking to each other and cycling together. Kris would comfort Isabelle when she's unhappy.

Baekhyun always had a special liking towards Isabelle because she had a cheerful and bubbly personality. However, he knew that Isabelle was a couple with Kris. He could be considered one of Isabelle's closest guy friends. He would cheer her up if he sees she was sad. When Isabelle thought Kris was cheating on her, she became more closer to Baekhyun and thought that maybe she should forget Kris and date with Baekhyun instead.

 What did she does ?
Seulgi joined S.M Entertainment when she was 12, she was one of the trainees that had the most potential and probability to debut. she was trained to debut as a solo because she was a triple threat - good at dancing, singing and rapping. Isabelle joined the company when Seulgi was 17 in 2011 and from the on, everything changed. Isabelle had a voice as good as hers, if not better. Seulgi was jealous of Isabelle and when they meet each other, she would glare and ignore her. Later on, S.M. announced that there would be an upcoming girl group, which would be EXO's counterpart, Seulgi was not selected but Isabelle was. She was told that it was because the company wanted to debut her as a solo, hence she was not selected. In 2013, it was known that Isabelle would debut as a solo first and then join the upcoming girl group in 2014. Seulgi was really upset that Isabelle could be a solo and a group member too. At this time, one of the trainees in the upcoming girl group had left the company because of personal reasons and Seulgi was given the chance to join the group. She was also part of the SM Rookies team.

how can she be your rival?
Seulgi did not like Isabelle from the start because she always felt that Isabelle's presence had shadowed her. In the upcoming girl group, the trainees each had an exo counterpart. Seulgi's original counterpart was supposed to be EXO's baekhyun but because Baekhyun was a match with Isabelle's vocal power, S.M. decided to switch Isabelle and Seulgi's partners, which is Kris and Baekhyun respectively. Seulgi pretends to flirt in front of Isabelle with Kris during trainings and tries to sow discord between Kris and Isabelle. Seulgi actually likes Baekhyun.

- Isabelle visits Kris at EXO's dorm and EXO's members tells her to cook something for them. Isabelle doesn't like cooking but she decides to do it anyway and Kris knowing that, comes in to the kitchen to help out. Kris turns out to be as bad as Isabelle at cooking and they end up messing the kitchen. Kris added too much salt into the vegetable that Isabelle tasted and Isabelle overcooked the potatoes.
- Kris and Isabelle goes on a night date in the park. They go cycling and decides to compete with each other and Kris decides to scare Isabelle by disappearing somewhere and when Isabelle finally found Kris, she was really mad at him and she pretends to cry. Kris comforts her and she ends up laughing at him.

- on their anniversary, isabelle thought kris had forgotten but just before midnight, he brought isabelle to the park and there on the bench was a really big bear which isabelle previously said she liked.
- so, one day, seulgi lied to kris that she saw Baekhyun and Isabelle acting really intimate together. kris didn't believe it and he was really angry. he went to look for Isabelle in the training room. Isabelle was training with Baekhyun for the duet dance at SMTOWN's concert and Isabelle accidentally fell on Baekhyun and they kissed and Kris saw all of that. Isabelle tried explaining to Kris that it wasn't on purpose but even though Kris said he believed her, she felt that he wasn't acting like normal. She was really down because she should be the one suspecting Kris of cheating on her. anger got the better of her and one day, she told Kris to meet her at the training room and she kissed Baekhyun when she saw that Kris was coming.
