BACKGROUND ━ ✿ background - As a kid, she wasn't hard to take care of. Give her apple juice and she would skip off to play on her own. She didn't have a hard time sharing toys or food because ever since she was born, she lived with her cousins who were around the same age. Yoonjung is all about family. Her cousins and her grandmother has been living with her since she was born so she isn't awkward with a crowd. Even when she was a kid, she was extremely fond of books, and not the pictured ones too. She started reading when she was 3 and when she 5, she already had her life plan set in front of her. She wanted to be a writer. Yoonjung grew up smart and quiet. She didn't have many friends, not because she was shy or awkward but rather because she spent most of her time with her books. When she was in high school, she was called the 'pretty bookworm' but she could care less about what people think. She's a very simple person who works well under tough situations. When she was 7, she stayed at Canada with her aunt till she was 11 to widen her knowledge. She learned english while she was there and she started writing in english. She learned japanese through her class at her current university as it is one of the mandatory classes she has to take.
PERSONALITY TRAITS ━ carefree, quick thinking, irresponsible, careless, easy going, family oriented. ✿ personality - Yoonjung usually has a blank face on and this makes her seem serious but really, nothing much is going through her head. She just finds it bothersome to smile. Although she is smart with a high IQ, she doesn't think much of anything and is always cool. Even when she first meet the other couples, she has a straight face on though she didn't have any problem striking a conversation. When she met Dooyoon though, a smile immideatly blossomed on her face because you can't have a sour face when dealing with kids. Before going on the show, she would prepare herself mentally for any possible outburst from Dooyoon so when Dooyoon first threw a tantrum, she went on and prepared 'bunny apples' with a calm face. Dooyoon instantly calms down. Although her carefree personality can earn her lots of friends, her irresponsible and careless trait pushes them away too. Because she doesn't think much of everything, she's labeled as irresponsible. During one rainy day, Yoonjung went out to play in the rain but her niece wanted to join her so she didn't think much of it and just brought her out into the rain to splash around. Although her niece had a great time, she got sick and Yoonjung's brother got really angry at her. Her niece said that it was no big deal because she had fun so Yoonjung was carefree about it but still her brother scolded her. Eventhough sometimes her parents and family members warn her for being too careless, she simply shrugs and says 'don't bother about me'. Yoonjung is all about family. Because she grew up with her extended family as the whole family lived with their family, Yoonjung is very close to her family. Eventhough she loves little kids and can handle tough tantrums, she doesn't plan on starting a family of her own. Every time she thinks about starting a family, a little voice inside of her says 'whoever gets to be your child is one unlucky kid to have such a nonchalant mom'. Eventhough Yoonjung gets along with new people, others find her distant because Yoonjung finds it 'bothersome' to try when she knows one day she will be forgotten. Around kids though, she actually makes effort and is very easy going. Whenever her niece is hungry, instead of solving it by cooking, Yoonjung joins her niece in whining at her brother. They would usually gang up on her brother and beg him to cook with their aegyo. People who aren't familiar with Yoonjung might find it extremely awkward when her expression turns 360 around kids. Suho might be weirded out by how much she does aegyo around Dooyoon compared to how stone faced she is around him. Although Yoonjung can handle children well and she's normally calm, she has one weakness. When there is a sudden blackout, her knees would instantly be drawn to her chest. Her head would be lowered and her hands would be brought up to cover her ears. Ever since she was a child, she would imagine scary voices in her head during a sudden blackout and she would tremble like crazy. This distracts her from comforting the scared kids.
