Maybe it's just me, but I enjoy the small community. You tend to see the same people lurking around the FT Island tags, so it feels more like a group of family and friends rather than a fandom. Arguing popularity is a moot point, imo. No matter whose side you take, you're never going to win, so it's best to just stay out of it completely :)

All in all, I think we should focus on the positives rather than the negatives. The Primadonna's I've met on this site are such a fun group of people, I wouldn't trade them for any other fandom. :D

Shida, one more thing I have to make clear. It is not wrong to call FT idols. They are always idols in our hearts.

What I REALLY meant was that FT Island has finally broken through the 'Idol Band' post to something greater than that.
Just in case you make another blogpost to indirectly bash me about saying FT being idols are wrong.

Okay I can see this directed to me, and I think you have misunderstood.

Number one, I seriously hate it when people say I stop loving FT Island. I don't stop, I love them too much. I DID NOT SWITCH my fandom. I'm sorry if you think otherwise.

I didn't switch to EXO fandom. Yes, I love EXO now too, but I'm pretty sure I'm allowed to be in both fandoms. The two groups have a vast difference in music, and I love both kinds.

Number Two, it IS FT Island's wish NOT be an idol band. They didn't want to go on variety shows like the others because they want to concentrate on their music. They don't want people to like them just because they cute. They want to be known as a REAL band that produces their own music. If you would like evidence, they have said this in a radio show. Out of their own mouths.

 Number Three, is there a problem with me treating them as true musicians now, with their own style? Other groups out there also have their own unique style, but FT Island is special, you have to agree to that. 

Number Four, please look into facts before you let your emotions run wild. I'm a Pri, no matter what anybody thinks, deep in my heart, I am one and always will be.

Do you think I don't feel the same about FT Island being so underated?

It is FT Island's wish to not be an idol band. I hope you can respect that, since I can tell you are a very dedicated Pri. As for the thing with EXO, them being popular is inevitable. We can't fight with the EXOstans. Their fandom is too big. Instead of getting jealous, shouldn't we work with each other, to understand why EXO is so well liked everywhere?

Look, I know you are upset about my blogpost, but you have overreacted. It was a blogpost simply promoting my new fic. Many authors write stories about other idols too. I don't think I'm an exception.

I was like you when I started be an author here. Most of featured ff were exo's . Well, they ( the author) deserved it since their ff were good. I admit it. But if they used other group, I don't think their ff would be as successful as that. If you view popular tag, there are exo. And yes, they are in-trend idol. We can't deny that. Maybe because they have many members. If a member has 30 thousand fans, multiply it by 12. Logic right? I like all kpop group ( but not rookie group on 2013. They don't appeal much yet) just do your best on ur ff, maybe other won't appreciate it but primadonna will. And you shpuld be proud that you wrote about them although peoples not really interested in it. If ft island happened to view aff, it will be easier for them to recognise you. Think on the positive side, okay? :)

I've never been a fan of FT Island so I can't really understand your feeling >< But I'm pretty sure that it hurts so much to see someone you loved to be neglected D: Btw, everybody has their own preference and they can choose their own path, I found it to be nice of you to voice out your opinion but just let those ex-primadonna to talk about FT Island. At least you know which one is the real fan and which is the fake one :) If there's one thing that I'm really afraid of, it's those hypocrite people, it's good that they admitted their honest opinion. However, directly bashing/insulting FT Island is just plain rude ><

As for me, I wrote EXO fanfics because I like them :) It's not because I'm following the flow of nowadays fics authors, it's merely because I feel uncomfortable to write about groups/bands I'm not familiar with hahahaha

Perhaps your fandom could organize an event here... like a contest to promote FTIsland. Hmmm... I know I have friends here who are Primadonnas, I just can't remember because they are quiet. I know its unfair but it all boils down to preference. Most of the AFFers in the EXO fandom are new to kpop so it is possible they haven't looked into them.

My bias is Hongki and trust me he is pretty cute and hot as well
i used to think like that as well, but never thought of speaking up, unlike you
