Making Kimbap or Maki Sushi

My friend BabyzArmys requested for me to post about making Kimbap (what Koreans call it) or Maki Sushi (what Japanese call it)
It's kinda easy for your info .
So here i am, about to share with you how to do it ^^

Stuffs you'll need

- plates (to put all your ingredients in order and avoid a mess lol xD)
- a cutting board // sushi roller
- knife
- A flat plate for serving xD (up to you)
!!PLEASE BECAREFUL WHEN USING THE KNIFE!!

Ingredients

- Seasoned and dried seaweed (You can use either the big sheet one or the small ones)

- rice // glutinous rice

- eggs // tuna spread // squid // shrimp // anything you prefer

INFO
:- Use seasoned dried seaweed ::: because by using this , you don't have to add any salt or sugar to make your kimbap//sushi tasty. You can taste the seasoning on the seaweed but will not lose the taste of your centre food eg: omelette//tuna//or other centre food you use
:- You can use the small seaweed sheets too ::: because by using small ones, its much easier to handle and to roll. Plus, you don't have to use a knife to cut it. Small ones are much easier to handle with. I prefer using the small sheet seaweed but its all up to you >_<

Doing it

1. Cook the rice until it's soft and sticky if you are using normal type of rice. But if you have glutinous rice, that is more preferrable since its more suitable to use it in making kimbap//sushi.
# tip : Keep the rice warm when its done cooking until you are about to put them on the seaweed.

# extra info : Koreans and Japanese, and also Chinese in China use glutinous rice, which enables them to use chopsticks when eating .

2. As you wait for the rice to cook , make an omelette if you are making omelette kimbap // cook the tuna or the food you prefer to be in the middle of the kimbap (let's call it the centre food haha) .

3. When the rice and the centre food is done , take a cutting board//sushi roller and place the sheets of seaweed on it. (Let's say you are using the big sheets of seaweed)
Use a spoon//your hand (which one you prefer) and put rice on the seaweed. Spread it all over the seaweed sheet and make it thin and flat to avoid your seaweed to tear or become uneven. When done, spread your centre food. In case you're using omelette , its either you cut it up into strips and lay it across the rice or just put the whole omelette on it.

4. Make sure your ingredients are evenly placed on the seaweed. Roll the seaweed slowly and carefully to avoid it from breaking apart or tearing apart. Press the rolled seaweed firmly on the cutting board//sushi roller but carefully to make it stay in shape.

5. Take the knife and cut it into small cylindrical shape . Some of them might get torn apart or un-rolled. You can roll them back or...put in it your mouth haha (i eat them xD)

6. Done cutting? Well , adjust their shape to make them look pretty (lol xD) and take a flat plate for serving and serve it :3 And then you can eat it ^^

:- As you can see in the picture, that person uses the sushi roller//whatever its called. But i don't since i dont have one. If you do have one, you can use it instead of the cutting board :)
