Well, the title is pretty self explanatory.

Today I have turned 17. This is a very special day for me, for many reasons. First, I think the age itself has some thing to it that I'm very excited for the things to come, and secondly, there's going to be a big party. So much has happened since last year, and honestly I had expected my 16th year to be quite happy but it never turned out that way, I don't know really know why. I don't understand what happened that I was never happy with myself. I do like to celebrate my birthday. I know looking at it with a religious point of view, it doesn't quite seem right to celebrate it, but I like to anyway. Today I feel like I have a plan, to not overthink and create problems that aren't really there, and to do what makes me happy. The only person I have to be better than is the person I was yesterday. I don't need to prove anything to anyone, I have to accomplish my goals to make myself happy. At the end of the day, all we have is who we are, and nothing can make us feel more lonely than that.

Also I found out this month, that Kris also has his birthday in November which made me super duper excited plus even more happier. I know it's not on the same day, but yeah same month so I'm still happy.
