Even if you're not a huge fan of EXO because I know that their fandom can be annoying at times, this is me reaching out and asking you to vote for them because voting for EXO means voting for K-Pop. I have had it up to here with other fandoms bashing and putting down the K-Pop fandom, calling our idols "fags" and our music "trashy" and telling us that this music isn't worth listening to just because it's not in English. I am so done with ignorant, racist, stupid s making fun of our interests.

I mean, look at all this on Twitter about Tiffany at YTMA!

As a fandom, we're united and we're strong and we're probably one of the most fiercly dedicated group of fans anywhere. And I think we should own up to that by letting EXO win at the MTV EMA awards this year. We need to show the world that K-Pop is more than it seems; K-Pop is the passion, endurance, drive, dedication, and commitment made by our idols. It's years and years of blood, sweat, and tears, training for a debut that may or may not come. It's dealing with sasaengs fans, being dragged into unwanted scandals, no personal life, diets, hours of rehearsal, schedule after schedule, injuries, cameras up in your face, losing sleep, and enduring all of these things for a few minutes to live your dream on a stage in front of millions of people who love you. 

And it's about being a fan who may never see her or his idol but we support them and love them from afar. It's about the new friends we've made and family we've formed. It's about having a safe place to talk about the things that make us happy and protecting our idols. It's about finding something that makes us feel like we're part of something. It's inside jokes and fan chants and sharing information. It's waiting four hours at an airport for a chance to see someone we love for thirty seconds. It might not be much, but it's enough for us. 

And I am so sick and tired of non K-pop fans giving us because of something that doesn't involve them.
