that goes the same too with the featured story every week. I'm not saying it's crap or anything it's just that the plot of it is too common and I'm just not interested with it. sure they make it look all fancy with fonts, the colours, the poster, etc but I actually expected a good storyline.

before this whole upvoting, advertising and being featured thing started, I remembered when the authors didn't even try to advertise their stories and people would just read it because it has a good storyline and BAM, it's the story of the week. unless the readers are actually biased to their author who would read anything they publish and let them be featured every week :P

call me a stuck up judge but I'm just pointing out my opinion and that we don't need to make our fanfics known by advertising them but by hard work and effort then you'll know how it feels to be appreciated whenever a reader comments on our stories.
