so last Wednesday I signed up for debate try-outs.

I honestly don't know how it works, but I was really intrigued with it and I didn't know that my school had one (apparently there was also one last year-- I just didn't know about it 3) and this could be a good experience for me since I want to be a politician (don't judge-- this country needs my help /slapped) and I got to be the first speaker of my team :O

then yesterday, Friday, was the day of the tryouts and I swear my heart was about to dislodged itself and I was very nervous because my team was up first but thankfully, I was the opposition so I get to go second after the affirmative is done with their first speaker. I told myself that I can do it and scold to myself that I would prove my parents wrong abt being worthless and aND SO I DID AND I BROUGHT THE TEAM HOME :D

I was sooooo happy because the judges complimented that I actually did my best for my first time in debate >u< but that was just the first round... I don't even know if my team gets to represent the school or whatever but I hope I do because this is my chance to shiiiiinneeeeeee

P.S - my ex-crushie actually watched me presenting my argument but left because he didn't want me to get nervous I guess (?)
