Ice Breaker

I was never one

To like ice breakers

From the awkwardness

To the wait for it to be over

To the clichéd activities

That makes the entire class

Groan in despise

To the teachers

Who are way to peppy

About the whole thing

But don’t they realize?

It’s supposed to break

The tension in the air

And I want it to end quicker

Because all it did

Was make the ice thicker.

(a/n; i wrote another poem my hand slipped. anyway this was sort of inspired by this thing at my school that involved ice breakers and i just. really who likes ice breakers and awkwardness?)
