Who Is Next... YG why you so... so cruel...

It's been a while, hasn't it...

So YG's "Who Is Next" show is finally over- funny thing is, I had no intention of watching it because it sounded cruel and I could already tell team A would win but I ran across someone talking about it and couldn't hold back my curiosity anymore... it was a mistake because by the first episode I became a huge fan of team B even though I was still about 90% sure team A would win.

YG's a jerk -.-

to be honest, I love team A as well, I'm excited to see what they give us but well... this whole competition was messed up from the start, the way the teams were set up, the obvious style difference, the fact that Team A was more recognizable (and older, truthfully I tried so hard to favor them simply because they were closer to my age) and the comments made by YG and the celebrity spectators on twitter and on the show as well... to be fair, YG did give B alot of praise, and there were even times when I felt the judges ruled unfairly towards A but at the end of the day Team A was going to win because us viewers knew these insanely talented boys wouldn't have a chance of debuting if they didn't win(and that's just... no, there is no reason why either team shouldn't debute -.-). I mean in the first episode YG said it him self "DO you want to Debut or go to military?" he made it clear his plans for A if they didn't win while B's fate was fairly uncertain.

Team A is fairly solid talent wise- Nam Taehyun at first tried to hit those high notes that he didn't quite reach but in my opinion grew the most during the show- he learned to utilize his vocals in a way that didn't make me cringe and I actually felt he was the best in "Just Another Boy". Mino (who's a personal favorite of mine) has a great style to him but I feel bad for him, his group didn't really start winning until he lost the leadership position so I'm kind of afraid he believes their losing streak was his fault... which is sad but at the same time... KSY surprised me with his leadership, he's very relaxed but lead the team pretty well and the fact that Mino strongly showed loyalty to him I think helped transition the change really well. SeungHoon (who I hope gets a stage name, I keep mixing his and KSY name -.-) at first seemed kind of useless until I saw his choreo- damn that kid has great sense and is probably the first YG dancer I can honestly say could become a choreographer (I love Minzy but I would rather see her perform on stage forever, she should never be hidden from the stage)... in honesty, I think the only one who really was disappointing was Jinwoo who I'd wished so hard that he'd get better but ended up just disappearing in the crowd... I feel bad for saying that but he was just ok in vocals, just ok in dance and well, he was able to perform only when he was given alot of time to rigorously memorize every single word of the lyrics (I think if A hadn't won he'd be the first to go) I mean he seems like a nice guy, everyone seems to like him he just isn't as talented as the rest of his bandmates and I don't feel ok just ignoring that simply because he has a teary back story.

in truth I think the only thing that made me choose B over A was the fact that B had such a close bond that A didn't have until the last few missions.

B, I swear, they might not have had the best vocals but the three newbies were able to grow in a matter of months because of the original three- B had this team work that seemed so flawless at the beginning with B.I. (who's actually the third youngest out of the eleven, blah, why so young -.-) naturally falling into the leadership position (even when they were working with A) Jinhwan naturally being the councilor and nurturer of the group (he ended up being my favorite, love that little guy^^) and Bobby who they could always laugh with and even though he had so many reasons to give up and fall kept smiling and standing by B.I.'s side like the right hand man he is... team B, I guess you could say I've always been a er for close bonds, they really were like brothers... I miss that brotherhood -.- I have faith though, I mean just watching "" I knew there was no keeping those boys off the stage, they'll be back...

but then another part of me thinks about the fact the YG has plans to debut another girl group, he just debuted Lee Hi and Akdong should be debuting soon as well... when would team b even have time to be considered?
