Personality: Ye Jin seems to be a detached and unemotional person upon first encounter but she's actually a person who would go out of her way to help a friend. She normally doesn't expect anything in return but wouldn't mind it if she gets mentioned in a conversation. She's stubborn and would stick to her ideas even if she knows at heart that they aren't the best. She doesn't, however, impose her ideas and beliefs onto others. 'It's your choice to like or dislike it' she would normally say. She's an observative person who doesn't allow emotions to cloud her judgment. She's quiet when she isn't around her friends but is talkative when in their company; she's just that comfortable around them. She likes to make people who she doesn't like feel small by using 'big words'; she doesn't use them on a regular basis.

Background: Ye Jin is the only child of a wealthy couple. She was forced to play traditional instruments and learn traditional dances by her grandparents. Her grandfather was a well-known gayageum player and her grandmother was a Korean drum dancer (samgu mo). They took a liking to her because her skin was fair and according to them, it made her beautiful. Ye Jin never really liked playing the gayageum and was bad at samgu mo but did it for her grandparents. She would play it every day and all her music on her mp3 was traditional music instead of pop like the other children her age. She was home schooled so she didn't have many friends except her next door neighbour who encouraged her to do what she wanted instead of being her grandparents' puppet.

When she was seven years old, she became fascinated with the piano; she would play it whenever her parents weren't around. This was pretty easy since her mother was always on tours and her father, being the workaholic that he was, seldom left his office. One night when her mother was home, she saw Ye Jin trying to play a nursery rhyme on the piano so she took her onto her lap and taught her how to play that nursery rhyme using only one finger. After learning it that day, she was sure that that was what she wanted to do. She planned to take her neighbour's advice but couldn't find the courage to tell her grandparents. This went on for two months before she finally told them that that's not what she wanted to do. It really hurt them but her grandmother approved of her following her dreams though her grandfather thought otherwise.

Ye Jin continued to be home schooled until she was ready for the first year of middle school at Seoul Arts. When it was suggested that they start a rock band, she loved the idea but thought she was a bit too reserved to be a part of a rock band but after a lot of persuasion, she became a member of the band.

Present: Her life is pretty stable at the moment. Her mother works at Seoul Arts in the university section as a lecturer after ending her career as a pianist. Her father decided to not work as hard as he did before because he had to get admitted into the hospital for overwork. Ye Jin gets to see more of her parents now than she used to when she was a child. Her grandparents are still alive and they are both supporting her in whatever she wants to do. Her grandmother, though, keeps pressuring her to find a nice young man that will take care of her. Her grandparents moved out of the house into a more traditional one. Ye Jin loves being a part of the band and considers all the girls as her sisters.

› I became friends with them during the first year of attending middle school. I had classes with the

Since when did you join the band?

› I'm an original member. I helped to create it. A few of the members came up with the idea and I helped with the name all that was left at that point was to get two more members.

How long have you been playing keyboard?

› I've been playing piano ever since I was 7 and branched off to the keyboard at a later age; about age 13. So I've been playing keyboard for about 5 years.

Who are you closest to in the group?

› I'm closest to the Special Instrument player. She's like a proton and I'm an electron; being attracted is inevitable. Even when we start out at opposing sides of the room at the beginning of practice or a meeting, we always end up next to each other by ten minutes after. It's creepy yet fascinating.

Have you ever fought with the other members?

› Sadly, yes. But all groups have conflicts. I'm just happy that our fight didn't become physical.

How do you act around the others?

› They are my some of my closest friends so we talk and laugh a lot. At times I act as a moderator as I try to stop them from being too reckless. I may not be the oldest but I am, most definitely, the most level-headed.

What are your plans with the Muse?

› I want us to get famous. I want to hear a crowd shouting our names, I want to see multiple signs with our members' names plastered on them being waved as we play and sing our hearts out. I plan for Muse to be a name that no one will ever forget.

Do you have any plans on going to stardom?

› It's hard out there for a group without a company so to make our dreams come true, it makes sense to sign to a company. I believe that we should sign up with an entertainment company but not one that will change our image or force us to mold to what they think society wants, but one that provides us with a manager who knows what to do and one that can properly prepare us for the entertainment world.

How you met: While she was waiting at the bus stop for her ride to pick her up, she saw him and thought that he looked y. She stole glances at him when he was with his friends and was examining him with every glance. When the bus stopped and he got on, she did what she hadn't done in a long time, listen to Soo Mi's advice and work on impulse. She got onto the bus and pinpointed him. It was hard to move since the bus was so crowded but she finally got to him. She stood right beside him for the ride. She wanted to wait until his friends left to say something to him but she aborted the mission halfway. She stayed there until he got off. But there was one problem; she had no idea where the bus was going. She met him a week after, when she went to visit her mother in the university. He was dribbling a ball and accidentally bounced into her.
How you act around each other: He tries his best to act like a good senior around her and her bandmates but ends up failing many of the times. Ye Jin bluntly tells him that he fails at being cool. She normally goes to the university section using either her mother or another member (if there's any in university) as an excuse to see him. After they become close, he ruffles her hair which often results in her blushing or slapping his hand away. She compares their height even though she only reaches his shoulder. She tries her aegyo every now and again when she's around him, taking Soo Mi's advice yet again.

Personality: Hoya is hilarious, or at least Ye Jin thinks so. She always laughs when he tells a joke. He's quick to think and speedily gives witty responses. He often says that Ye Jin got her smartass way of thinking from him. He is very charming as well, and he knows exactly how to use this charm of his to get what he wants. He's gentle, he does everything with care. Although he's gentle, he isn't scared to jump head first into something that he seems fitting. He has no known fears is often the one to calm Ye Jin down during a horror movie.

How you met: Ye Jin was five when she met Ho Won. At that time, she was skipping her gayageum lessons with the help of Soo Mi. They were playing in the garden by the fence that connected the two yards. Soo Mi decided to peak through crevices in the fence while Ye Jin was telling her not to. Soo Mi spotted a little Hoya, holding a purple blanket, playing with toy robots by himself. Soo Mi decided that she wanted to play with him because he looked so pitiful. She called over to him and told him to play with them.
How you act around each other: He pinches her cheeks and calls her cute almost every time he sees her smile and tells her to smile more often. Whenever she doesn't feel comfortable or feels scared, he holds her hand (fingers aren't interlocked) or pats her head. He tries his best to be a good older brother figure to her but he can't help it that he's falling in love with her. He gets a bit awkward around her when he finds out his feelings.

Ye Jin visits Woo Bin while he's playing basketball and he decides to teach her how to shoot. He becomes completely surprised when her shooting is great for someone who has never played basketball before. He also lifts her up to make her do a slamdunk.
The Muse girls get their first big jig and they get criticized because people think that they used Ye Jin's family's contacts to get it.
Ye Jin's mother never really knew who Ye Jin's friends were until Ye Jin invited them home, and being the honest people they are, Ye Jin's mother found out about their pasts. She tells Ye Jin of her disapproval of their friendship as soon as they leave the house.
