Something which has been annoying me on AFF lately.

Hey guys, just wanted to address an issue which has been popping up lately on AFF. How many people do you get friend requests from but when you accept, their profile is hidden. If you send me a friend request, please make your profile available to AFF users or at least introduce yourself on my wall. Some basic info about you so I know not to decline the request.

I have never declined a friend request here on AFF in my two whole years so far! Don't make me start now.

Many people send me requests and I accept feeling happy that they want to talk to me but then my spirits come crashing down. Why? Because they friend me because of my stories, my blogs or simply to increase their friend count. Ridiculous right?

So please introduce yourselves since I'm pretty sure I haven't ever spoken to at least half of you!

I really want to have many new friends.. but then i realized that i'm not the type to talk freely and introduce myself to people cause i'm afraid that i'll just annoy them or i'm simply shy and english isn't my first language, so.. you know what i mean right ? :)

I usually accept all requests and send out requests to people who seem to have similar interests (based on their fics, their blogs, their usernames, or their dps). I don't really know what to say to them, but I just want to be friends, because we might have similar tastes. :) I'm too shy to just say anything but I think the request is a way to get to know each other.
