Is writing fanfics an act of disrespect for our idols?

 

Are the kids after the 90s generation really that bad?

 

They say Xiumin has lost a lot of weight, due to him not eating a lot and practicing a lot for their performances. Why do we set such unhealthy standards for our idols? Why can't we just accept them for who they are? Why are people making them diet just to look good, why are they even following it anyway?

 

If we had the money to go to South Korea, would we have stalked our idols like those sasaeng fans? Would we even be that crazy? 

 

Do we discredit the idols' hard work and just focus on their appearances? Why?

2. I'm 99 liner hahaha I dont think so, again you're generalizing. there's never fully bad or fully good.
3. They have to, it's their job to make people like them. Ask yourself can you accept them for who they are and there you get the answer. For me yeah I can but they're idols so. they mustve known when they signed the contract it's their consequence (not that it justify the society but yea)
4. I wouldn't, bleh I dont even go to concerts. sorry i love my biases but I dont think they're worth wasting that much of my money hahaha
5. "We" as in who? ask yourself. If you refer to fangirls, well some do and some dont. again you generalize hm. because we were taught or learned to judge with eyes. it's our instinct, just like the way hot guys becomes popular in schools.

1 - No, unless you're EXTREME with them. fics ... No. Why? I can't understand who would enjoy reading about their bias being / someone.

2 - Kind of. Yeah. Definitely. Well, the majority. I have asses in my year too. Every generation has them. But 00 liners and up are just ...

3 - Don't ask me. I can understand why people do it to make themselves feel good (within reasonable limits) and I understand plastic surgery. BUT, when people make others get it or tell others to, I want to hit them ... with a shovel.

4 - Haha, no. Sasaengs have mental problems. And I'm saying that in the nicest way possible. They're not the full shilling. They need couselling to help them.
Believe it or not, it's possible for i-fans to be sasaengs, too. I read an account of one girl's friend who was a sasaeng and it was creepy.
The fact that we aren't taking drastic measures to go to S.K kind of proves it.


5 - Personally, I don't. Others do.
I fell for Zelo because ... well, I don't exactly know. I fell for Chen because of his voice and I respect him and look up to him a lot. I fell for Sunggyu because of his awesome voice (hands down, he has my favourite voice) and his humor (I like funny guys). He takes such good care of everyone. I fell for Henry because he's a sweetheart and his voice is to die for! Jinyoung ... well, I fell for his looks, his voice and his idiocy in music videos - first bias ftw!

It's natural for people to look at looks and fall for them. We are, after all, only human.
