7) ya it could still happen in modern-day times because revenge is in a human's natural instinct like it can come in all shapes and forms but it's still gonna be difficult to pull it off like Edmond's way

8) i think abbe faria does because he educates him and together they both found out who was the cause of his imprisonment AND he also told edmond about the treasure

that's all i now about the book bc i read it like 2 yrs ago but hope i could help ; ;
