Kim Heechul just finished his first MC per-recording since his return from the military. Heechul will be a panel member on the variety show Ssulzzun  or “War of Words.” Heechul will be a permanent panel member in a section of the show entitled “Entertainment Judge” or “Judge of Variety Skills.” This section of the show will be comprised of a panel of MCs that cover various news in the entertainment world and comment and give their opinions on it.

JTBC’s rep said “Kim heechul will show his skills in talking through the program ‘Sseoljeon’. He is currently participating on the pre-recording. Kim Heechul, who is good in talks, wanted to meet his fans through a variety show. He asks everyone to anticipate him”

Heechul commented on the recording via his Instagram:

It seems articles are already up. I did ‘Ssulzzun’ (War of Words)’s prerecording well. Kim Gura Hyung never changed and Park Jiyoon noona taught me beautifully, i was really charmingly happy with Lee Yoonsuk Hyung, our eyes met with Kang Yongsukkie hyung with his shining bright eyes, and i got attracted at Heo Jiwoong Hyung’s willow leaves like-tenderness and thornbush-like sharpness. As always, with my genius abilities in talking, i received a standing ovation from all of the staffs

Kim PD commented on how well Heechul was able to adapt to the show and handle the other MCs probing questions:

Kim PD said “Original MCs had limitations when it came to analyzing culture and variety areas. We (producers) decided that Kim Heechul would fit the role for an idol or celebrity that are in center of public attention and know the trends.”

Kim PD also added “Kim Heechul’s first recording was like a hearing. Other MCs bombarded him with questions, and new MC Kim Heechul was surprised and sweated hard.”

Jo Sungmin: It’s been a long time since the 3 of us (are together) i hope for Heechulie’s first show to be daebak!!!
