L sat at her computer, drooling over Xiumin, not knowing that through the window, M was watching. M was mesmerized by L’s hair; how it cascaded down her shoulders. Her slow breathing in and out as she gazed upon Xiumin. Her only love.

“What are you doing here?” Z hissed.

M jumped at the break in silence and turned to glare at Z. “I could ask you the same thing.

Z’s eyes widened before she ducked down, pulling the hood of M’s jacket with her.

They glanced up at the window as L walked up to close the blinds. A few minute late the lights turned out and both M and Z let out their breath they didn’t know they were holding. M turned to Z and swatted her hand away, still holding the hood of her jacket.

“She’s never going to notice you if you keep watching her from her bedroom window.”

“And yet, you where here to do the same thing.” M said standing up.
Z snorted and followed M out of the yard. They walked almost side by side in silence.

“It’s that damn Xiumin. If he was out of the picture.” M began before stopping in her tracks. “That’s it. We just have to take him out of the picture.”

“What are you talking about?”

“With Xiumin gone, L will turn to us and we could-”

“Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Are you talking about kidnapping Xiumin?”
M shrugged, “Or something else but yes.”

Z sighed, “You’re full of .” She said before walking forward.

At school the following week M and Z sat at the lunch table watching L laugh and stare at her phone, reading another one of the short Xiumin fan fictions she would read while eating her lunch.

“Damn that baozi faced balloon.” Z mumbled stabbing her salad.

M glanced down at Z and let out a chuckle, “What do you say, we get rid of him and let this become a real rivalry?”

“Fine. But we aren’t killing him. Let’s just send him to some third world country. I don’t want all of his blood on my hands.”

“All?”

Z broke her gaze on L to look at M, “What? you don’t think he won’t put up a fight?”

At fall break the plan was ready. M and Z kidnaped Xiumin and like Z predicted Xiumin did put up a fight but Z came prepared with a strong but not lethal dose of chloroform. They stuffed him in an old trunk and slapped postage stickers all over to send him to Timbuktu.

After the deed was done and the trunk was on a truck on it’s way to the airport. Z and M were at the coffee shop toasting to their success when L came bursting in, mascara running down her cheeks as she shakenly walked up to the two.

“His missing! Xiumin is missing!” She bawled, falling into M’s arms.

M turned her head to Z and smirked. “There, there L. Everything will be alright, M is here for you.”

“What do I do?! He’s gone! I can’t-”

Z reached out and started to her strawberry scented hair, “We’re here for you Love, I mean, L. We’re right here.”

“I don’t know what to do. How can I go on?”

“M shushed her, “Don’t worry.”

Later that night both M and Z were watching L cry on her bed over her Xiumin body pillow. Their hearts were breaking like chips falling off a supermarket shelf.

“What did we do?” M asked turning away from the window.
“We? it was your idea.”

“You brought the chloroform! And where in the hell did you get it anyway?!” M practically shouted to Z.

They covered their mouths and looked through the window but L hadn’t moved from the bed. They sighed and looked back at one another. Z’s hands were balled into fists. She was ready to knock out M’s perfectly white chiclets.

“Come at me bro.” M said planting her feet. Ready to fight.

“Gull, when you’re ready come and get it.”

“Such small talk for a small girl.”

Z snorted and charged like a bull at M’s red jacket. Z swung at M’s chin but missed as M dodged out of the way.

“Torro, Torro.” M joked.

When Z turned around fire was in her eyes. She charged again and this time she passed right by M. Their eyes met as she passed and the corner of Z’s lip curled into a smirk as her fist collided into M’s gut. M coughed out in pain and clutched her stomach as she fell to the damp ground.

“That’s right , L is going to be mine.”

“What the are you two doing?” L said standing at the window.
Both M and Z looked up at L. Her eyes were dry but puffy and red.
“Uh, we were, just…Um…What were we doing?”

“They were fighting over you.” Someone said, emerging from the shadows.

They three looked in the direction of the voice and there stood Xiumin, his clothes tattered and blood was dry on his face.

Z and M’s eyes popped out of their heads, jaws on the ground, “How did you get out of the trunk?!” Z gasped.

“Someone forgot to put a lock on it.”

M smacked her face and glared at Z, “I told you that you forgot something!”

L reached out the window and pulled a postal sticker off Xiumin’s shoulder, “Timbuktu?”

“Yeah your friends kidnapped me and shoved me in a trunk before trying to send me there.”

L’s head snapped left to look at M and Z, “You’re going done.” She jumped out through the window and stood side by side with Xiumin. They planted their feet and had their fists up ready to fight. “You both know, I only love Xiumin.”

“Wait until they find out they really only love each other.” Xiumin whispered to L.

She smirked before her face went hard again. “Ready to get your asses kicked?”
